How is this totem stuff legit?

By turn 4 they have the entire board covered with totems and buffed up to a billion damage.
There is no defense against this. By turn one they had card that does 3 damage plus totem pluss buffed up for health.
What are the devs thinking?
There is no way to defeat this.
