How does one Justify the price of Darkmoon Faire Treasures?

I was looking at the price for the rest of the nine pulls and was wondering why it costs $220 (where I live) to try to get one (1) item. Like without the option to buy the thing outright, it’s basically gambling within access to children. Of course the the die hards would say well you’ll get it if you buy them all with the runes (158000) or that card packs are the same thing, they are not $220 same and with as to my knowledge, zero way to earn them in-game or convert gold into them. So how does one justify that?

Edit: So for science, because I knew it would go exactly that way, I bought all the pulls…Ended up with the pet on THE LAST PULL…GEE, WHO COULD HAVE GUESSED??? That is either legendary bad luck, or fully intended and chance is a lie?

they got into a union. youre probably going to see more greedy things and less fun

kinda like wow.

They don’t, they just cost a lot because they cost a lot, so you can exibit that you spent lot to get them
Same reason Riot released 500$ skins

You have 92% chance of needing all 10 draws to get the pet
If you iddn’t notice the interrogation mark on the page it will lead you to the website displaying the odds of each pull
The pet starts with 0.1% chance, on the 9th draw the pet is at best at 15% chance iirc

The same way people justify gambling I guess.
