Hotfix for Arena and Transfer Student

Hey everyone,

We’re currently deploying a hotfix that will address the following items:

  • Fixed a bug preventing some player accounts from accessing Arena mode.
  • Fixed a bug where Transfer Student was not properly recognizing the game board when chosen as a Discover option.

This hotfix will take place on the server side, so you will not be required to download anything if you’ve already updated to 18.0.

after your “hotfix” I can’t find an arena game anymore. Yesterday everything was fine

Can players that suffered losses from this expect any compensation?

Also, arena matchmaking seems broken again.

if you want to demand compensation you have to contact customer support

It’s blizz blunder. A sane person would make amends for his mistakes. But considering blizz’s record, they’d even blunder at giving compensation.

I’m trying to get back in the top 100 arena leaderboard.

Losing a game on a mechanic not working as it should hampers that goal.

I wonder if the Transfer Student bug has anything to do with it’s effect being weird, for now, on the Scholomance board. It said it would give me a dual-class card, even though those aren’t active yet. Then I get a Warlock card that’s nearly useless to me as a Druid. I think I used BEEEES!!! on the Transfer Student after that because I don’t like false promises.

that has already been mentioned in another patchnote that until the release of dual cards on thursday it will add a random class card instead
