It is not the attack that is the problem but the amount of armor they can gain way more than warriors can in a signal match. This druid I a faced by turns 8 30+ armor.
While I agree and I’m already dreading the next 2 years of druid matchups, I doubt they’ll nerf him next week. They’ll wait for him to be top tier and drain everyone else’s enjoyment for a few months before taking any action like last year.
i main this deck and can confirm it is mostly garbage. 30+ armor is an extreme outlier and nowhere near a normal game for this deck.
Not really. Heropower druid is fine.
It sits around 51% winrate (Tony Druid, HS Replay). Why would you want to nerf an balanced deck? If anything the only card that is problematic in Druid it’s Anub’Rekhan, because he gives tons of mana cheat even without a lot of stacking armor, but just himself and Underking, especially if you play him after Summer Flowerchild, but otherwise I don’t see a problem with druid.
Because a deck that wins by deleting your deck with Tony and making an uninteractive board as early as turn 7 or so should never break a 30% win rate due to how incredibly bad that play experience is for your opponent.
First there are ways to counter Tony like Dirty Rat and second there are also more than enough tools to shuffle cards into your deck to avoid fatique. One of the cards is a win condition (Rivendare), but you could also just use Photographer Fizzle or Finley.
A terrible card in today’s meta that is more likely to set you behind than actually stop a combo like that given how many minions tony druid runs.
Rivendare is too slow to win the game when you are facing an immune board swinging at your face each turn.
Finley deletes your hand to avoid fatigue damage… How is that helping?
There really is no good counter to the combo, just an RNG hail Mary in dirty rat which makes your deck worse.

rogue has a pirate this rotation, when you equip a weapon gain +1 attack and the effect goes away when the minion dies.
druid in the same expansion battlecry and deathrattle give your hero power +1 attack for the rest of the game

Just clear the board… shouldn’t be too hard against a deck that has a limited amount of dangerous threats?
You do realize that a druid can choose to make that the worse option for you, right?
If your deck can clear the board, they swap decks then delete the one they stole from you.
If you are a class without the untargeted removals needed to clear the board they delete their own deck and steal yours.
It’s not as simple as “just clear the board” because the druid has a read on of that’s even possible or not, and can plan accordingly.
Do you realize that every control deck is be able to clear the board?
If you’re a control deck you should be able to play around it and shuffle stuff into your deck.
Every control class has access to untargeted removal and aggro don’t need it, because they just finish you before druid does his stuff.

because it isn’t fun to play against is the main reason why anyone wants to nerf anything, what is fun to play against ? I managed to go the distance against a warlock that was playing manacheat, I “da other side” him and we had a great game because of that went the distance, warlock still won but it was fun at least.
I don’t play Tony in hero power Druid. It’s okay, and can’t deal with the board flooding classes well. I feel your win condition is surviving until your hero power is carrying you every turn. It does have potential to be very strong if they support it with future card releases. But right now, it’s heavily dependent on drawing well.
