Hearthstone sometimes starts in the wrong resolution

My monitor’s native resolution is 1920x1200, but I’ve set Hearthstone to run at 1920x1080, as 1920x1200 doesn’t leave enough empty space at the sides for a deck tracker. Sometimes, Hearthstone starts at 1920x1200 but the options screen still shows 1920x1080; reselecting 1920x1080 fixes it. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern to this; I just tried starting and exiting HS several times, got the bug once but it corrected itself on the next launch even though I hadn’t changed anything.

Possibly relatedly, if I turn fullscreen off and back on while the resolution is set to 1920x1080, Hearthstone will fill the entire screen while saying 1920x1080. (I have taken screenshots of both cases; I don’t think there’s anything to be seen in them apart from the fact that they are indeed 1920x1200 so I’m not posting them).

Windows 11.

I’ve got the same issue with a different resolution. I have a 3440x1440 monitor that I have set to 2560x1440 since I have a separate application that adds “blur” on the side of the game since hearthstone doesn’t actually extend out to the edges of the screen, it just throws the rank and settings icons out there and is just black space. My monitor is an oled one so I’d rather not have just black there which is why I’ve got that separate application.

However it will randomly decide to open up in 3440x1440 and then those icons are covered up by the secondary blur app I have, I then have to disable it, set the resolution back to 2560x1440, then I can reenable it.

I’m using Windows 10 on my PC.

I have my resolution set as low as possible for speed purposes (APM counts in BGs), and it absolutely reverts to 1920x1080 from time to time as the game loads. Not all the time, but it still happens. It’s irritating. Windows 10.
