Having an absolute blast with this deck as I am making changes and ironing out the kinks. The deck plays similarly to EggLock, but it feels far more proactive. You get to the point where there is just no way to remove the board unless you discover a Mass Dispel.
Play eggs. Copy them, give them taunts and stats. Life Cycle is an ABSOLUTE boss in this deck. I am super glad I found a use for this card. You can ensure you get a kill on your egg while improving your board, kill Greybough and then resummon from whatever he went to while getting a 5 mana minion. The synergy is a blast.
If I’m playing shaman I make sure to have a way to cast hex about 20 times if needed. Id imagine recycling graybough is far more important than the eggs anyway.
It is fun when it goes off, but it is pretty meme tier versus any sort of good meta.
Edit: It does not work unless your opponent forgets to play cards. It is dramatically too slow to do anything. I do not know how anyone has even won a game with this. I did not win once in ten games.
A new version of Greybough Druid? I’d like to test it out vs my Starship DH (well, more or less the good old one, except that it’s the modern version — with RIP and that ooze).
PS For Azeroth’s sake, when will you people learn to use ‘preformatted text’ for decks?
I tried to add you as a friend! Did it even alert you? I was wondering what you were playing. It seemed like some control paladin variant. I hope you were also glad seeing something new and different lol.
Yeah that was a deadly concoction w the greyboroorooughs lol! Mine is a lynessa variant! SRSLY IDK it alerts me like on battle app but not on hearth somettimes so glitchy
If i had a lengthy drawn out deck like dk or something i legit think u’d still winn how do u Fair against dk or quest warrior(nothing beats those guys ne way)
i gained like 2k rank with the deck absolutely stomping on DKs and warriors. Once the Greyboughs start looping there is nothing they can do about the board. Leaches, brawl, CExplosion, and most removal just becomes useless.
PS Also Marin and umpteen ways to discover anything of the aforementioned… provided the player is truly skillful, of course.
Ah, you means those clowns with incredible skillz of topdecking just the card to cheat you out of some win where they shouldn’t be able to most of the time?
It’s almost as bad and skill-intensive as all those Rogues with their netdecks, filled to the brim with ultimate skill-testing cards (anyone remember King Togwaggle? His comment on the Rod of Roasting, I think), such as: Observer of Mysteries, Creature of Madness, Fyrakk etc.
Griftah and Zephrys have not been a problem. I normally have multiple Greyboughs looping and 1 getting stolen isn’t a big deal. Even if they Mass Dispel Umbra brings it all back.
Generally i like your idea making the deck.
But i doubt it could perform well at high rank. The deck is too slow, lack of removal and lack of proactive play. I also think it 's very bad to include stranglevine in the deck.
Any source — and there are numerous ones — of random legendaries into, say, Maestra into (‘The Amazing’) Reno — repeated by Tess, Zai or whatever as needed — would easily take care of your board… especially if you’ve run out of your free wins limit ( man, while writing that piece, I seemingly forgot the exact formulation or wording I was preparing for this post; ah, well, no matter, I guess…) — why, my ‘opponents’ would pull of such manoeuvres for twenty or so games in a row every day, then.
Truly skillful top-Legend™ playarghs should have no problem in playing like that, thus showing their skill, regularly and consistently.
PS Looks like your opponents couldn’t properly master such skill-intensive cards as Marin, Griftah, Zephrys and whatnot. As said, skill issue.
Ive been trying to give this deck a chance for a while now. best Ive climbed so far this new season has been to gold 10. And it wasnt because this deck got any wins at all.
