I checked my card collection and I have 211 golden cards that cannot be dusted because they are basic… a potential of 11 050 dust… Something should be done about this restriction. I care much more about dust I could collect and build stronger decks than golden cards I do not play.
Since these cards are given for free upon reaching certain levels, their value is zero dust. Disenchanting them, of allowed, would grant you zero dust.
Plus, even if you would not disenchant cards in error and then regret that later, others would, and then they would be upset with Blizzard for allowing them to disenchant a card that they can now never get back because it cannot be crafted.
