Playing against priest 4 times in a row,3 loss one win and no game below 30 min.All that tools (heals,removals,lifesteals,steals,reborns) and fake nerfs (shadow madness,holy nova,swd) make this class to much OP and annoying.It’s frustrating and every day i’m closer to delete this unbalanced game.
I play priest and I usually take about 5 sec to have my turn. It’s the other player’s fault if the game takes ages… some people are a bit slower than others. Lift your game people!
30 min games vs priest is only really possible with the mirror
those werent nerfs, they were buffs because the cards were unplayable in their former state,
If every time you play Priest you end up in a 30minute plus game, you must be playing a real slow deck yourself… I mean, I mostly play Highlander Mage at the moment and I haven’t had 1 game go over 30 minutes against Priest… And these matches almost always go to fatigue…
I get your frustration though, but I don’t think Priest is OP or anything like that…
Shadow Madness and Renew are mind-numbingly strong right now.

shadow madness is back to its old use: its an anti-aggro tool that helps you stabilize the board. renew is strong but not overpowered. priests base cards are mostly one-for-one removal with zero card draw so they need renew-esque cards to compensate for that weakness.
Are you more upset that your matches took a while or that you lost 75% of the games? There are certainly ways to beat priest. In fact I use a Rogue Galacrond deck that usually beats priest. I will admit that the game usually goes 30 cards or more and they are not short matches, but I enjoy them thoroughly. It’s so rewarding to watch a priest use his 2nd Mass Resurrection and pull back a bunch of Convincing infiltrators and Skeletal Dragons only to lose them all to the 7th Kronx I’ve played (usually for 0 mana using Heistbaron or Galacrond’s battlecry). Priest is strong, but you can beat priest if you are smart about it. Same is true for almost any deck.
In what possible context could the classic set rework be considered nerfs? They were buffed because Priest’s core set was pathetic, and I don’t think they buffed the core set enough to solve the problem they were trying to fix.

It severely limits the type of board spaces and minions you can play against priest in the current pool.

It’s an insanely versatile spell bordering on too good. Is it an issue? Maybe not. It is, however, probably the single most irritating spell in priest’s arsenal right now.
Why?
Because it punishes you for playing the game.
