For the past several months whenever I enter a game there’s like a 50% chance that the game will freeze at the start of my turn. Audio still runs and the client is still up and running, but I can’t interact with the board or anything since the visuals are frozen (if I click my mouse I can still hear the dirt tapping and such). The only fix I have found has been restarting the client but many times the issue simply occurs again.

yeah mate i’m having the same problem.
I’ve tried everything. Restarting, changing to google DNS, changing priority in T/M, updated the machine, reinstalling, changing the graphics, even ran it compatability mode for every single previous version.
Actually managed to play a full game if i ran it in windows 8 compatability mode, but can’t even get that to work now.
