No, runestones are intended to put p2w into the game. Nothing but money can buy them.
you can buy 70 booster packs when new set comes out and they give you a meta deck for free from logging in after so long
this is a card game you buy card packs …just the most recent ones the 3 oldest ones are about to rotate

Buy packs with it when the new expansion launches, or the mini-set. Is what I recommend. You get the best value out of it that way.
best is subjective. if you enjoy wild or duels then I would suggest buy any expansion that you like
i would say buy the BG battlepass but thats cash only now. as well as locking the hero selection behind it. so welcome back. hearthstone is now P2W, and gold is useless. enjoy.
