Everyone is playing DH

Balance didn’t change much…

17 games in a row facing DH…. its super boring!

Well stop playing DH then.

The reason DH is so strong right now is because it is a good counter to the current top classes like Shaman, Hunter, and Paladin. A lot of the time it can outplay them and even disrupt their combos.**

For example, against Hunter, if you play a 1/1 Portal Argus Demon on their side of the board, it can interfere with their Confront the Tol’vir setup. I had a Hunter concede once because that interaction completely messed up their game plan.

The portal barely affects hunter as the bonus of tolvir is repeating spells not minions

Do you mean they play 2x location and you summon one 1/1 to boardlock them? But as a DH you should have board presence to pressure them, so i don’t see why it ‘s relevant (maybe in rare case when you don’t have board and they only have weapon, location and the 4 mana tripwire, but in this case you ‘re falling behind too far).

The current Contraband Hunter playstyle relies less on maintaining board presence in the early turns compared to the original Face Hunter archetype.

I said BONUS, giving them an extra minion to summon barely impacts the card, they do that themselves

Tol’vir doesn’t replay the Portal of Argus, in any situation.

The original portal is played by the DH, not the hunter. And it’s a 0 cost spell. So there ‘s no reason tol’vir should replay it.

Tol’vir replay every 1-cost card you ‘ve played this game. And the argus minion is not played by the hunter.

Nope, I"m playing Bg’s. But I would be playing DH if I was playing standard so I guess you are right.

It won’t happen anyway.

Regarding the original post, DH is seeing a sharp decline in usage rates. Post-patch the playrate stands at just 2.3%, and the win rate is lackluster; it has likely fallen behind other top-tier meta decks (such as 2bit Rogue, Mug/Zee Shaman, and Tripwire Hunter).

I’m playing Egg DK and have only run into DH once in 25 games.

See a lot of Hunters too, due to being another super low iq deck for people who need the welfare win. If the opponent doesn’t draw right (highroll being the only relevant factor in this game), there is no way to stop the face damage. Mindless drone just plops down 1 cost 5 damage cards, (then “randomly” draw two more of them that play automatically for zero cost) . These are things that would be easily recognizable as problematic if they didn’t even 5 minutes of testing.

But these are bottom of the barrel devs and an equally bad technical team. Clients crash with the little “your game was recorded” every couple games on all platforms. Even the slightest latency the game can barely recover and you lose a turn. Then as a result of not playing on that turn, the rope is 1 second and you lose another.

Best in the business!
