There’s no reason event quests need to be exclusive to traditional hearthstone. Just add alternate task like playing minions instead of just current expansion cards, or playing a game with some useless legendary like Nozdormu the Eternal. Mode exclusive tasks are obsolete and the industry is phasing them out.
