Do We need HearthStone 2?

Maybe if blizzard does hearthstone 2 they will do it right and learn from there mistakes from hs 1.

Most players won’t even bother with a sequel after seeing what’s become of the original game

For no reason whatsover unbequeathed beseeched and beknownst they refuse to do anything to refreshen or liven up or revamp the ui. While the game is what the game is right now, i think truly that hearthstone 2 would be the best thing to happen to this game since hot babes showing tummies in hero portraits

I believe that Blizzard’s corporate mission statement needs to be completely reset, from “I have to suck all your money by any means at my disposal. I have no scruples and I’m not afraid that players will file a class action lawsuit and bankrupt me, resulting in thousands of arrests and decades of imprisonment.” to “I make a fun, fair, and balanced game so everyone buys it and that’s it.”

ROFL! This is all we will ever see. Introducing a sequel would be the death of this and that game. The problem is not fixing any mistakes. What we consider a mistake is what they consider Profit. That goes for all the gaming corporations. Profit at all cost. I foresee after enough is enough Laws start popping up to combat this corporation greed. Sadly it won’t happen soon enough. With as much money there is in gaming, it still flies under the radar.

yeah i guess you guys are right :C..

Would probably just turn out like Overwatch 2. Add a 2 to the title, overpromise, overhype, charge money for the new “version”, fumble it, blame the players, go back to calling it Hearthstone.

Let’s just fix Hearthstone 1.

  • Remove Battlegrounds
  • Add more solo content with story

They ran Hearthstone into the ground, you actually think they would not START Hearthstone 2 5 miles UNDER GROUND? They have no IDEA how to even make cards.

Technically asking if you need hearthstone 2 is like asking a cancer patient if he needs a second cancer…

We just need Blizzard to go bankrupt if possible, not another hearthstone. Unfortunately even if they go bankrupt, they will still be bought by others like Microsoft and so on, so they won’t go extinct, which is a bummer but every time they take a loss I am there to laugh with my mouth to my years…Like I did in the case of that dude that got laid out after 10 something years and the started crying every were…Man it was the best day of my life, every time someone at blizzard has a bad die , I throw a party lol !

so we are just NPC being controlled by big corporate companies throw psychological ways?

Hello everyone,

The question is ask to myself: when a game needs a sequel?

The first answer i can think of is: the final boss was defeated, the story ended and it was a total success, so everyone would like more of it.

So i say to myself: HS is an open-world themed game with no end to the storyline, so no “final boss” and no end of story. So I don’t see why anyone would like to see a sequel of an “unfinished” game.

Anyways, good game everyone!

Yeah, you just fixed the game.

There’s no more reason for BG to be part of Hearthstone anymore than there was for Hearthstone to be part of WoW.

Hearthstone was rolled out as a separate game, and there’s no reason BG couldn’t have been the same. The problem with BG is it needed monetisation, and being part of HS wasn’t really helpful with that.

I would, but only if it’s done by another team, another company, and another megacorp (preferably none as they add nothing of value to gameplay and only introduce casino gambling mechanics as we have in HS today).

Ergo…

If Hearthstone 2 was a thing, would I be able to use my collection of HS cards, or would I have to start again from scratch?

If its the former… why bother making a new game that uses the same cards. Just continue to update the game as always.

If its the latter… no. I’ve been collecting Hearthstone cards for more than 10 years, and I am NOT interested in starting over.
