Do minions owned (and on board) by an eliminated player go back into the pool?

So, there is another thread where someone brought this up to me and said it was even one of the tips. I’ve seen the tip that says minions sold go back into the pool. I have not seen the other tip, tbf i ignore a lot of tip stuff, so i very easily could miss it while i’m playing and cooking dinner or playing and watching a tv show… I googled some and searched thru the blizz page. havent seen anything to confirm this. Can someone please share with me the location of this information. Much thanks!

yes all minions from an eliminated opponent go back into the pool.
if an opponent had a golden Cave Hydra… 3 cave hydras would now be back in the recruitment pool

this is generally true for most if not all auto battler games.

You still face dead players though with the board they died with. Does that not matter?

the question wasnt does this happen, the question is: where is the source that this game uses that mechanic.

edit ok, so it’s both, does it happen and can i please get a source… the title was really a tagline to get people the general topic

As far as I know nothing’s been confirmed about that, it’s all speculation based on how autochess works and what people have experienced.

I believe that minions go back into the pool somehow, but I don’t know if it puts all the minions from a dead player back in. It’s very hard to confirm that’s how it happens because you can’t set up a scenario manually.

No it is confirmed was confirmed in one of the q and a sessions with the devs. They even gave a example of a golden minion being owned returning three copy’s.

On my phone and not wanting to take the time to find the source For you. you can look and pull up the q and a if you want it.

What about minions that have been magnetized? Like if an annoyobot is placed onto an amalgam, will both the bot and amalgam go back into the pool or just the amalgam?

I meant do all minions that have been magnetized to a minion go back into the pool after the player dies or they sell off the minion that they were merged with?

Also one of the loading tips directly states that when a player dies their minions go back into the pool.

I know I don’t often pay attention to them, but once in a while I do catch what the currently displayed one says.
