Even if they revert that change, it still still laughably easy for DH to get to 10 mana minions. 2 weapons = 6 voids, then they have the 2 spells that give another 2, so nerfing the minion does nothing. They’d need to reset the weapon as well. Void DH was actually playable before these changes, it has the tools to generate enough souls as it was. It was just “too slow” because there are other decks in the meta, such as huntard, that outpace just about everything else.
Perhaps so Preventer, but the fact that you might need to have 2 of those cards in your deck just to deal with DH tells you how powerful that weapon is. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a weapon have such a profound effect on Standard.
Watched for what.. its a low skill deck that wins through mana cheating a bunch of stats through undercosted void stones that are handed out like candy. Just another deck that forces people to play token decks to get underneath the highly skilled voidstone spam.
Thats adorable. Wish blizz would stop watching and start doing. Everything takes ages and by the time they squash one problem after 3 months 5 new ones have appeared
They’re watching, not playing. Marketing will have an LLM scrub social media and forward the devs a summary to-do list along with some monetization notes.
Not sure how many packs void DH would even sell given that most of the cards they use are pretty easy to obtain. Probably another reason why it’s so popular. You don’t have to dump gobs of dust into building it.
Love it when they know the issue is there but refuse to do anything about it for weeks, same with imbue druid when it was everywhere but nope lets keep this miserable meta alive for long as possible, i face nothing but DH
