Death Knight Story?

I took a hiatus from hearthstone for quite some time. Just recently came back when they had some free stuff on prime gaming. ( need more please!!)

I noticed when they introduced the last class ( Demon Hunter) there is a very deep story single player campaign to complete after the prolog. (which I am now enjoying)

Was this story campaign added after a certain amount of time? will they add a similar story campaign for the Death knight?

The DH ‘Prologue’ tells the tale of Illidan, and previously it also served to unlock the class and give the ‘Initiate’ set of cards for it (or something like it… see the references below for details). The ‘Story’ is about Aranna, who’s a separate character.

How about doing some web searching?

So yeah, they were released separately.

Your guess is as good as mine.

One more thing: subsequently, Illidan’s story was continued in the Book of Heroes. It would be reasonable to assume that the next chapter should be about Arthas, who’s the basic hero representing the DK class — however, this hasn’t happened yet.

PS By the way, I, too, liked Aranna’s story, even bought her bundle in the shop with gold when it was for sale just to commemorate it — and because I liked her character, even though I generally get to play with demon hunter only in tavern brawls, which could be either with Illidan or with her.

I too hope that they will complete the Arthas / Lich King Story. I liked the Prologue and I am a sucker for Solo Content  Make it happen!!

I wonder how they would handle it, though. With Illidan, the prologue told his story before WC3, essentially, while his chapter in the Book of Heroes was about the rest. As for Arthas, the prologue already follows the major milestones on his path as a DK, so would the BoH fills the gaps, so to speak?
