Well, it’s weird because ultimately there’s not much logic to the arguments that this knot of players make. They cite games in entirely different genres to try to justify statements about digital CCGs somehow being ‘unfair’ to them by not handing them every card in the game for 20 bucks. It makes no sense in any reality, but that’s the position they have staked out for themselves. So they make weird arguments to justify weird opinions and then get salty when simple statements of fact kick the Jenga tower down. It is what it is.
