Darkmoon fair is such a money grabber I have tried every time the fair comes up to buy a few clicks and get nothing good every damn time. If your going to offer theses items that are hard to get I see. At least lower the amount each time you press the button it will add on how much more runestones you need. I don’t have much money so i only get a couple a clicks per fair. I love hearthstone been playing since its release but the Darkfair IMO unfair for the people who don’t have much to spend.

The odds are not equal and the price incrases each time, these information are available if you click on the information button, and are now displayed in-game

I won zero pets so far, using free spins + couple buys each rotation, this time i wanted both the big prizes so i bought a spin 4 time, which was equal to how much i would pay if i ordered good quality food 3 times to my house. I don’t understand why Hearthstone in general became soo expensive, like the prices increase a lot faster than my country’s inflation lol. We should not be paying tons of money for some cosmetics. Please review our feedbacks and at least change this darkmoon system, we should not be paying more and more each time we spin, it should be discounted. At this point the system feels like; instead of playing online casino where i can also earn more money i choose to press a button in hearthstone to earn a cosmetic which i can not even earn without insane luck. Isn’t it soo stupid ?

The pet has an initial 1/1000 chance
When there’s only one big reward, you have 92% chance that it requires all 10 spins to get it
My issue with that is not that the pet costs 170$, I’m fine with it I just won’t buy it. The problem I have is the randomness that comes with it, and the odds that you have to look for (they are now in-client)
I reviewed my collection achievements and realized that each expansion I own between 19 and 22 of the 27 legendaries and most of the epics while not spending anything in the game (anymore). Completing events, dailies and weeklies allows to build a massive collection. If you can build whatever deck you want for free, expensive cosmetics should be the last of your worries. Sure it would be nice to have an affordable pet, but the system being expensive shouldn’t be a problem as long as it’s not predatory.

The solution to darkmoon fair is easy. Take your free spin and be happy with the result. There is absolutely nothing in the fairs that is so critical that you need to spend real money on it. If you love gambling, well, go ahead spend some gems.

Yeah, the first paid spin or two is pretty cheap, if you like the cosmetics its a reasonable gamble. I’m fine with dust (although if I randomly get a pet, I wouldn’t turn it down). Cardbacks I don’t need though. In my two regions (NA+EU) I got a golden pack and some signature cards that I immediately dusted, so I was pretty happy.

I think it’s fair to say that 170 $ for just a pet cosmetic is evil pricing. Gaming communities criticizing cosmetic prices of EA games, Activision etc. for last decade because the companies know that players want to buy cosmetics since it’s their hobby and they price them really high. It’s kinda evil business model in my eyes. You can say 20-30$ for a cosmetic is okay price in 2026 but 170$ hell no.. a decent Razer mouse costs around 80-90$ if you wanna compare how business model is in the Hearthstone. The more we accept things and say it’s okay i won’t buy anyway, the more companies gonna milk the money from others. The system should support the customer insted of using their emotions to manipulate them so they spend more..

Imo, not when the game is free and you have access to most of it by just playing semi-casually, completing quests that don’t require much effort.
It would be nice that there’d be one affordable pet, on top of the removal of the predatory gamble system.
I really don’t care when a F2P game that allows you yo do whatever you want with it’s base material relies on high-cost skins to find it’s money, as long as the system is not predatory. Once the cost and product are clearly established, it’s up to everyone to manage their money.
There are already a bunch of great cosmetics that are given for free, if people make unreasonable purchases because they couldn’t weight that they couldn’t afford an extra skin that’t 3D, on that specific point I do blame the customer
If there was a way to block someone with a pet I would. Buying that trash means there will be more of it in the future.

i feel bad… i was the person who thought of pets i think. in the alternate timeline i came from in alt-2022 before i time traveled 3 years back to this timelines 2019 by praying to whatever Gods were listening for my ex-girlfriend’s dad to come back to life by time traveling and warning him about the bus that might hit him (kind of really stupid now that i think about it but that’s how it happened). anyway i only wanted to support the game and i am sorry you don’t like whales aka supporters.
i think it was Jesus who answered my prayer but it might have been someone else. i don’t know.
