So the current event has a hidden bonus that is each weekly quest grants 25 gold and each daily has a 50% chance of granting 10 gold
But once you complete the event, you don’t receive daily quests anymore, so no extra 10 golds here and there.
So you could have 2 players, each playing 30 minutes/an hour a day, enough to complete their daily
One only plays aggro, one only plays control
They’d play roughly the same amount of turns, but one of them would be spending way more mana in their games, which would make them complete their last weekly quest way faster
The difference in the end is not gigantic, maybe 50 gold max, but Am I the only one finding that odd ?
Yes. And players that dont do the weekly but do the daily in BGs will get even more gold just enjoy the game the way You want, and dont worry about other players rewards:face_with_hand_over_mouth:
The low activity players will end up playing the event for more daily quests than heavy grinders who blow through the rewards in less than a week. They are adding a small amount of gold to those casual players in a way that will be denied to the players who already get a lot of reward track gold. If you are high activity it is still more beneficial to get more gold through the normal track and keep playing the same way.
