We are three people to have reported that issue since last patch. CPU temp going up to 70c while playing Heartstone?
Something is definitely wrong here. Computer fans are about to make the whole thing take off to the sky!
Are there other people experiencing that problem?
I use RTX 4070 Super and never saw that before, especially for that game. Cyberpunk2077 looks silent compared to Heartstone lool…
Yep, its has been widely reported already. They def broke something, and its not a small issue. The fact this patch goes live, from such a big company, its honestly kind of amazing, and scary at the same time. Can’t even open the game. And I have a good computer, can’t image people playing on laptops or low end Desktops
They acknowledged this issue.
Lol I came to report this as a bug but seems everyone already reported…Like I have RTX5060 TI and Rayzen 9 and my temp doesn’t drop under 70…I know this because I have zero fan tech and in no game does the fan’s on my video card or proc start spinning cuz they never reach 65+ degrees…In HS it sits at 70 degrees always…Seems like a memory leek.
Man they cannot even patch it right at this point :))))))…Insane level of bad developing. I mean chat gpt could write better code…

I was coming to report a very similar issue with MOBILE as well!
The latest patch has made Hearthstone destroy my battery and cause my phone to overheat. Apple iPhone 17

Closed all apps, power cycled, etc and last game sucked 30% of my battery made my phone hot to the touch.
My phone runs it just fine, then again I turned off all the fancy stuff and removed mercenaries and bgs
Same here, I changed my phone in this Feb. Never experienced overheat before the patch. Now I can’t even hold my phone in my hand while playing HS. Guess I need to take a break until they fix this issue to protect my phone.
They won’t fix it, like with the desktop version they’ll just tell you to tinker with some settings
They released a fix for this.
No one is surprised. They shovel money into their paid content while the player base continues to complain about how poorly optimized the client is.
We’re playing a 15 year old game right now that they keep piling new code into. The levee already broke.
And i was seeing resident trolls mocking on this issue saying something like “They also want to say pc is overheating because HS released patch”. Another proof they do not think but just reply to every negative feedback!
I am sorry i have no time to search for that comment cause they spam a lot.
The technical team is as much a dumpster fire as the design team. The game disconnects and can’t recover at even the slightest latency or simply tabbing out. Constant crashes at the end of every couple games with a little message that your game has been recorded.
I can confirm that the problem is fixed!
My desktop CPU temp is holding steady at 32 C. Fans are running silent or low again.
