Conjuer's Calling, A Fragment Of Last Meta

Sorry, the OP had me expecting a better response than that. I am sorry for wasting my time and yours. You go right ahead and splash that engine.

Mountain Giant costs 12 mana to start and is discounted by the cards in your hand. Therefore, you need a lot of cards to draw to discount Mountain Giant.

You also need cards you can afford to play without milling yourself.

This is why Mountain Giants only work in specific decks.

Just because I proved you wrong doesn’t mean you get to be rude, lol

Still no build around. Running x2 CC and x2 Mountain Giant is no skin off Mage’s back, and that’s evident by looking at the decklist that runs it.

It isn’t a win condition so it doesn’t need to built around that much to the point where if Mage didn’t have it, they’d be destroyed.

For Gwyneth, you’re right but draw isn’t hard to come by. Affording cards to play is just low cost cards. You don’t need to 100% build around it.

Cool. Splash those mountain giants then. Good luck and have fun.

Please explain to me all the massive card draw mage has…I’m all ears.

Acolyte of Pain and Arcane Intellect for early game if they need it. Also Book of Specters.

Exactly one of those gets you a turn 4 mountain giant if and only if you go second and you can’t play anything in the meantime.

And then there’s spectres, which specifically requires you to not play spells.

But it’s definitely not a build-around card.
