Confront the Tol'vir lol

Blizzard nerfing this card the same way people fix traffic. Just one more mana bro, just one more and it’ll be balanced.

I said back in the 4 mana nerf days it could be 7 mana and still see play lol

it could be 10 mana and it would still be played

A card that can provide infinite value and rewards vomiting your hand turn after turn…yeah, even 10 mana would not kill it. I know Hearhstone’s devs love them some mana cheat, but Standard atm is a roulette of bull****. Seems like half the classes can spit out multiple fat minions for little, if any, cost. Fun times.

If warlock ever gets support in Standard to make Godfrey truly viable, they’ll go beyond to vomiting their entire deck

With the speed of the meta 6 feels like the true cost. At 7 that is pushing into territory where it would never see play in the deck against certain opponents. It’s also not the problem card in the deck any longer. The tripwire package is the real villain of the deck.

lol, it’s a card that can be discovered, ONLY targets enemies, can refill a hand and refill a board. If it was at 10 mana it would still be played, the fact it has been nerfed twice and is still one of the most dominating cards says a lot things.

They should just turn it into a hero card, and name it zul’again

It died at 4 mana and you know it. Seeing old clips of people playing it on stream for 3 mana is just absurd LMAO. Its not really about it being played later but rather played with combo cards like on turn 4 with a coin = 2 one costs and tolvir = gg.

Hunter right now is the least of anyones worry. All these desperate attempts of hunters (i play and enjoy hunter but didnt touch companion or fast face aggro or current tripwire) trying to adjust their deck is so feeble. Its demonstone rn with warlock and dh.

It should have been 1-mana cards played LAST TURN from the start

That or 3 mana play 5 1-mana cards you played. For example. But I like your idea too.

Legendary · Hero · Rastakhan’s Rumble · Battlecry: Cast all spells you

just remove the spell, and put this guy in the hunter core set

Not the same, targets chosen randomly is different, Confront the Tolvir always benefits the caster

At least Zul’jin had the decency to choose targets randomly, meaning it could hit your own minions/face too iirc. Tol’vir should at least randomize the targets to keep it from being such a busted mess. The way it is right now, there is absolutely no downside to the card. You do some damage, summon minions, refill your hand, trigger tripwires, and all for a piddling amount of mana by the point that you play it. All the while, the happy little hunter has been putting stuff on the board and done damage to the opponent. The only luck I’ve had against this degenerate card is playing Priest with powered up heals that allow me to survive the onslaught and some board control tools.

thats kinda the point

Better yet, include both and watch the insanity, it’ll be like Shudderwock, nothing but endless card animations

Doesn’t help that they added cards that give Tol’Vir a buff. More 1 mana card draw, and now you can trigger 5 damage or a 5 mana minion along with those card draws.

True, Zul’jin saw play and that only replayed spells.
