Classic mode for hearthstone

Can we please have a classic mode in the game that works just like wild or standard, but with only classic cards just like back in the day

Every time we have a Tavern Brawl like this, people complain endlessly about how ridiculously unbalanced it is.

It would be a waste of development time, IMO.

I would like to see a “worthy” alternate format for Standard.

Wild is just… Wild… and some decks/cards I just don’t want to see again.
Tavern Brawl is too limited, short-time capped etc.
Arena has too much RNG.

I’d like to see a Wild variant mode in which you had to use a deck that could have been Standard-legal at some point, but that could be from any year in the past.

Vanilla Hearthstone is better in memory than reality…

I proposed that in the past to much hate by the Wild community.

I would prefer something similar to Arena, where sets rotate multiple times a year.

So you would like a mode without decks, you don’t like? A valiant point… but good luck making the community agree on which these should be.

I would like the classic cards with the original art, please.

Adventures - Training - Expert.

Remove Big Priest and Quest Cyclone Mage, as well as Genn and Baku from that hypothetical format.
Pretty sure most would agree with at least two of these suggestions.
Two chosen due to popularity, the other two because they should not have been introduced to the game.

As to how these two decks should be removed/changed, without inhibiting too much deckbuilding freedom:
I do not know.

I’m not saying this should replace true-Wild. I’d want all three modes: Standard, Wild, and Past-Legal-Wild.

I’d prefer to face any of those decks over Mill Rogue.

Well.
Learn to draw better!

Mill Rogue increases the quantity of your draws.
But your quality is off.
You should have an automatic 90%+ winrate vs Mill Rogue.

(Seriously though. Any Mill Rogue I play against is terribly incompetent)

Could I have your opponents please?

I only face them when I play Reno Paladin.
Followed by the other two toxic piles of cards.
My fun decks attract tryhards.
And my tryhard decks attract memes.
Which means I cannot meme back.

I identify with thid entirely too much.

I would pick Paladin every time and watch my portrait explode like a champ. Awesome!

Hi guys, do you remember this thread :rofl::rofl:
