Can't download battlenet or Hearthstone (Network error)

I want to install Hearthstone on my Mac (latest version of Catalina) but the download just doesn’t seem to work.

If I try downloading Battlenet or Hearthstone the download is first of all really slow (70kb/s) even though my internet is quite fast and it stops at about 1mb saying “Failed - Network error”. I tried using different browsers and download at different times but nothing seems to work.
