Can the imbue abilities be removed from the game?

I play hunter and the imbue ability is completely worthless. I go up against a mage who can summon multiple minions at once while or a paladin who can use their ability a few times at one mana each and summon upwards of 3-4+ minions without even spending a single mana! I have to play multiple cards to get my ability to the point where it even makes a difference and few cards actually take advantage of it!

(looks at king plush nerf) hunter imbue was removed from the game apparently lol or at least i haven’t seen it since then or lost against it at least

So something doesn’t work the you want, so remove all imbue…yeah that makes total sense.

Maybe DON’T play imbue then if you’re adamant about playing hunter, or don’t play a greedy deck

It’s been on top 10 decks in top 1k for the last 2 weeks with name “Handbuff Hunter”

It still is!

I ‘think’ they should just revert paladin and priest imbue, they are the only ones that stand out in powerlevel, I think mage is kinda borderline, its really annoying to play against but its considered slow

Priest imbue isn’t as big a problem people make it out to be, in arena sure, because the pool of cards you choose from grows bigger each turn and you have just as much of chance to get garbage as something good, wasting 2 mana

I think you underestimate card draw specially being able to pull the card out of thin air + discounted, example the warlock heropower hasn’t cost 2 life and 2 mana since the inception of hearthstone because card draw is a burden…

Then don’t play imbue hunter.

You’re forgetting that the card received is temporary, the old imbue was you literally had to throw the card away if you didn’t have enough, quite literally wasting 2 mana for nothing, even now if you chose a card you still have a chance to not play it because you have something better in hand for the situation, discounting cards mean nothing if it doesn’t add anything of value

is that possible? doesn’t it always gives you a card you can play? I mean unless your board is full and you chose a “target minion” spell and your opponent has no minions but then hero power isn’t really a problem in that case?

If you get subpar choices? Yes, or say you have full board and the spell choice is nightshade tea and your opponent has elusive or no minions

Another example, you have 4 mana, you have the 2 cost taunt+lifesteal minion that gets buffed when you use your hero power, your choices are a different 2-cost minion and nightshade tea, at a discount of 1, I’d opt to play the taunt+lifesteal and let the temp card poof
