Ok it happened for the third time today. In the middle of the game, i could not attack with my minions, first it was happening with rush minions, then last game it happened with regular minions(when they were ready to attack). They were marked with a green aura around them denoting they were ready to attack but for some reason clicking on them didn’t make the usual attack animation appear. They would just sit there idly. I lost 3 games because of this thing. It is happening suddenly and almost always costing me games. So, i have no choice but to stop playing for now. The last game was against a warrior.
I tried reconnecting my mouse thinking it was mouse problem, but it wasn’t.
P.S. Here is another one, while spectating my friend’s game i am automatically getting kicked out of the spectator mode. Without any message or warning like “you have been kicked out” and even though I am still in the spectator window, I can only see the main menu.
There is a known issue which can sometimes cause minions to be unactivatable if you interact with them too quickly after playing them (before the enter play animation is done). This is most obvious with charge and rush minions but can happen with others too (if you somehow can interact with the minion on the turn it is played). Some have reported having laggy connections, there could be a link there.
The main way to avoid that is to wait until the animation is completely done before attacking. If you encounter the issue, you can disconnect and reconnect quickly (on Windows, I use Alt+F4 to kill Hearthstone; in Mac OS, maybe command+Q will work), this will refresh the client and make the minion work normally again. Hopefully you catch it early enough in your turn that it reconnects before the rope times out.
Another forum member posted earlier a link indicating that the issue may be fixed soon, fingers crossed!
