For anyone unfamiliar its the new Warlock card that swaps the attack and cost of the cards in your deck. So I thought I’d finally try to actually make “Deck of Chaos” work at high rank so I’ve been doing some math and figuring out the best cards to benefit from it and fit with the curve of the meta. I’ve played 5 games since making the deck, all 5 games “Deck of Chaos” has been in my bottom 6 cards but a few games it was in bottom 3. Deck of Chaos? More like Bottom-Deck of Chaos…
3 games against warrior, 1 vs priest and 1 vs mage.

but i run plot twist to help me search for it and put the cards i want affected by deck of chaos back into deck
im going to miss plot twist sooooo much in standard after rotation

Yeah Malygos Quest with plot twist is like my favourite deck of all time. I don’t like the Deck of Chaos with Plot Twist combo because ur getting 0 cost cards from the quest anyways and u can’t play Jaraxxus in quest since u get a new hero power, Jaraxxus is crazy strong with Deck o Chaos. My deck is basically a Control/Handlock.
Fun card but it’s a total meme. Either it’s buried or you do draw it and don’t have the time to play it by the time turn 6 rolls around because you’re under too much pressure to waste a turn. Would be nice if it affected cards in your hand as well as deck at least for its cost.

Yeah I feel the same about it, the times it was in my hand when I tried it a few weeks ago I was under way too much pressure to actually play it. Maybe it should be a 5 cost since its not a minion, or it would’ve been better as a minion with a battlecry instead of a spell so at least ur getting some stats.
Heh a friend and I spent some time playing and theorycrafting with this when he opened it in a pack.
Yeah unfortunately, Deck of Chaos does seem a rather heavy card (sinks to the bottom of the draw pile).
You can do some pretty funny stuff once you play it, but the sad part is that the cool stuff you do when you draw it early is still just okay compared to the broken things all the meta decks are doing lol.
Still, we came up with a reasonably okayish list for it. I’ll get the deck code from him if you want it.

Thanks but I prefer my own decks, I just like the feeling of having unique decks that throw people off.
I think if they release some good healing cards for Warlock it will actually become really strong, the meta just needs to shift to control style for it to work.
I was watching a video recently explaining how each class interacts with each other and how it affects the meta and basically Warlock is the meta definer. If Warlock is good then it makes Druid, Priest and Mage good because they can build more control heavy, if Warlock is bad then Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Shaman and now DH are good and the meta is aggro.
