I’ve made this comment before, but It’s probably important this bug gets seen.
In my experience, it’s any buff (or debuff, on an opponent’s turn, for instance) on a spellburst minion makes the visual spellburst effect disappear.
It’s still a bug, but you can still utilize the spellburst effect afterwards.
For instance, if I play a spellburst minion, then my opponent uses equality or something similar, the visual for spellburst vanishes, but on my turn I can still use a spell and the effect will still work, a small animation happens, then it vanishes for good.

I had the same problem. I targeted my spellburst minion with another minions ability and the sparkle disappeared. I check the play chain and I am 100% sure I did not cast any spells. Unfortunately the creature died during my opponents turn so I could not see if it reappeared during my turn. Glad you posted as I was like wtf.
