We would just go at the heavy milling route and give players a tech to return milled cards too.

Why?

  1. There is as much people that feel neglect by not having ways to play mill at standard as people who start rants because of it.

  2. By putting a tech you help it not feel so helpless.

  3. Even with nowadays tools it isn’t that easy to make mill decks work.

  4. Even with a tech against there will be the random chance of said tech get burn.

Why not a card that deals damage to a player based on the number of cards in their hand?

Or hell, a ten cost minion in rouge that when you would draw a card outside of your draw step, the opponent draws a card instead (combo with myra’s unstable element) (This one is a joke, it would make games WAY to unfun)

well maybe another version of a giant 8/8 that has a requirement "reduce the cost by (1) for every card your opponent draws outside the draw phase

They also removed Naturalized which punished big hands hard, not just big minion removal.
