It is simply incomprehensible. This problem has been going on for days and it feels like nobody at Blizzard is working on it. I’ve probably already lost over 600MMR because of it.

As someone already wrote, it seems to happen at the end of the turns, and of course whenever things are going really well…

i mean, i agree it’s ridiculous that this bug still exists. Like they don’t want us to play.

But you don’t lose MMR when you disconnect. The game erases.

That’s correct. But since it only happens on long games, it means your quick losses DO count, but your good games don’t, since you get disconnected. So you go down anyway.

Try deleting the cache folders.

Delete these folders:

  • Battle.net
  • Battle.net_components
  • Blizzard Entertainment

If this doesn’t work try to reinstall the game.

Had this problem several times last night. Never had these issues before, not like this anyway. Clearing the cache, etc. did NOT do anything - next game I played, I still got disconnected in the middle of the game. It usually happens in BG right as the rope starts burning signaling the end of the turn. If it reconnects at all, the game is a waste because I’m too far behind at that point and i just have to resign. Waste of time, energy, resources, etc. and loss of points.

Disconnects are out of hand this last week for sure. The game mainly disconnects in battlegrounds, when the rope (timer) is just about to finish. Sometimes its during a long battle sequence when the speed up feature kicks in , then it disconnects. Very Frustrating !
Rage quitting has never been my thing…BUT this week , I
just close the game and walk away.

I also keep getting disconnected, and the devs told me that it is because of “my internet issues”. I am glad to know other people are having this issue and the devs are feeding me a bunch of bs. I have probably lost a good 200 points, devs if you read this and you are tired of gaslighting people who submit tickets, this is how you kill what is a genuinely enjoyable game.

Same problem for me. Lots of random disconnects in bg and it never comes back from reconnecting. So anoying. Blizzard pls fix this problem now…

Not sure about yall, but i love gettin disconnected turn 3 then having to wait 30 mins to play another game while it tries to “reconnect”

Have they acknowledged the issue even exists? I am surprised it is still happening 3 days later.

ironically this is right after their patch notes saying they fixed bg stability issues
