(BATTLEGROUNDS) Interesting bug with N'Zoth

Hello developers.

I encountered the following issue while playing this, very interesting combination of cards while having Fish of N’Zoth and Victim’s Specter:

I got N’Zoth’s Fish from the function of Victim’s Specter, meaning I will have two N’Zoth’s fish. Omega Buster died first, giving it’s deathrattle to both fishes, along with 3 other Replicating Menace. When the replicated fish died first, the deathrattles did not trigger, meaning it only summoned a full board of Microbots, bot not buffing them.

Along with this, the first and original N’Zoth’s Fish did not inherit the deathrattles of the replica N’Zoth’s fish either, rendering the powerful combination useless.

I can only understand this as a bug, because it states clearly on the card that “When a friendly Deathrattle minion dies, gain it’s Deathrattle.”, when Omega Buster dies, it turns both fishes into Deathrattle minions, meaning that the Omega Buster Deathrattle, would trigger on both fishes, when they die. AND! The first fish that died would give all deathrattle effect’s to the second one.

Something to look into? Or perhaps an explination on why this combination would not work? The Fish is a deathrattle, so it would trigger the other fish, and also inherit it’s Deathrattles, creating a large buff and a full board of Microbots.

A possible explanation for this is that the card is not tagged as a deathrattle minion from the start, so the second fish would not understand that the first fish has deathrattles, because it doesn’t spawn with them. But that would be considered a bug.

Thank you for your time!
Arthur

Omega Buster will only buff mechs for each Microbot that can’t summon due to a full board.
If your Fish summoned “a full board of Microbots”, as you say, then that would be 6 Microbots, 5 from Omega Buster’s Deathrattle, and 1 from Replicating Menace (and the 7th minion is the duplicated Fish).

Since all Omega Buster’s Deathrattle summoned all 5 Microbots, then nothing would have been buffed.

I’m not sure you understand the situation, I’m fully aware how the game works. But i’m telling you, that a fish created by Victim’s Specter does not inherit deathrattle correctly.

You’ll have to provide a video next time this happens.
Most graphic card software has a replay function you could enable that dumps a video the last few moments to the harddrive.
For nVidia users, this is called “ShadowPlay”
For AMD/Radeon users, this is called Instant Replay (Settings > Record & Stream > Media: Instant Replay).

Is possible is becouse of this , the Fish is not a real Deathrattle , the text is :

After a friendly Deathrattle minion dies, gain its Deathrattle .

In the past there was similar situations with the card ’ Da Undatakah ’ that have

Battlecry: Gain the Deathrattle effects of 3 friendly minions that died this game.

This deathrattles was stored in a different form and didn’t work when copied.

I mean you’d think that even if it isn’t a deathrattle minion it would still work the same way it does with leapers at least.

yeah , but hs is strange so devs should consider it.
There are general mechanics and card hardcoded mechanics , mb they force Leapfrogger to put his deathrattle on another card but other cards don’t do it.
So is possible a fish hit by leapfrogger DR can pass it to the other fish , but for other DR it dont works.
Usually a real Deathrattle have " Deathrattle: " cards that have Deathrattle without " : " usually work strange
