If there is any doubt the game is manipulated behind the scenes just try playing warrior dummy. This is a deck that is out of favor with Blizzard and is destined to lose. Give it a try, unless it’s a mirror battle, every draw and RNG is favored for your opponent. Using the mixologist to create a spell that resurrects a minion will never resurrect a dummy. Never! Ten times in a row, with a 50/50 to get the dummy, it was always the other minion. Ten times… Yeah, sure it could be random. Try flipping a penny ten times and get back to me when you get ten heads in a row.
And any one can say the exact opposite
Your own experience of it may be unfortunate but it doesn’t prove anything
literally happens everyday
Here’s a simulation of 1 000 coinflips that you can reload to reroll :
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sGYAejN6fePSVGp2-_kWNSHWLd-GtAWz2qxwBAzZogE/edit?usp=sharing
You’ll see that for each reroll there’s at least one event where it flips head 8~10 times in a row
there are thousands of players playing that deck daily, which means thousands of attempts. Of course there are gonna be streaks of the dummy not being resurrected.
The odds of you specificaly getting 10 heads in a row are low, but the odds of at least one player getting 10 heads in a row are incredibly high. That player has to be someone for who the odds were low. Happens that player was you.
It doesn’t destined to lose when it is piloted by my opponents. More than that, usually they have an ideal curve and they ressurect Dummy like it doesn’t matter how many other minions are dead
I’ve been playing this deck a lot lately and yeah it’s very RNG-dependent. When it works it works. Nothing you can do about it and I don’t think anybody is behind the scenes manipulating anything
Dummy warrior struggles against aggro which is way too fast for it. Control will simply outlast it. Basically the only way it wins is with a perfect draw. It’s fun when it does but just get used to the idea of losing a lot with this deck
They dont admit it but they dont try to hide it.
Only a braindead monkey cannot see it.
Of course it stops working, you can’t duplicate random target/get random or discover effects in a physical card game without access to every single card
Now stop hijacking threads with this garbage
I would say some results, outcomes have really low chance to trigger, (however they are logical) happen while other’s have higher. Thats how they try to prevent them from beeing too OP. Mainly when the game wants you to lose. I could mention tons of examples. We can’t do anything about these, be satisfied if you can win enough to have fun and thats it.
Google “negativity bias”. You tend to remember what hurt you and you tend to forget what was comfy. I found Firestone’s replays good for exposing that; eg I often think “I ALWAYS lose to that class”; and I check the stats of replays and I was dead wrong.
Hearthstone play is not random. Your entire experience is being manipulated. Show me one piece of the code that says otherwise. I don’t understand why people still believe this dated premise when we have so much data to show otherwise.
The gameplay is coded to keep you on the platform and spending money.
Eight year olds, dude…
That’s not how the burden of proof works. It’s YOU who accuses people of doing manipulation without any proof.
If that’s how the world worked then everyone would be in prison without a trial if they were accused of murder.
The game is manipulated to stimulate the brain for high’s and lows. NO matter the result it is addictive, the dopamine effect. And yes it’s very obvious to anyone who knows anything about math or psychology.
Good. don’t you dare play that deck. take in this food for thought: the deck is so overtuned if it draws an even “mediocre” curve so blizz has to tamper with it only slightly to make it fair
You’re applying courtroom logic or competitive debate practices into an internet public forum post? Good luck with that.
I 've tried too and nobody cared. Mostly I just got flamed for it.
Regardless, it would be nice to see the coding to verify it for the debate. Good luck to whoever tries to read it! Hope they dont get possessed by an old god in trying to read Blizzards jacked up coding these days. (Looking at you rogue quest!)
It’s not courtroom logic. It’s universal logic that courtrooms tend to respect because it’s logical.
You can’t accuse people and then say “IT’S TRUE BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T PROVE IT’S A LIE”
If that was acceptable every troll would destroy everything, by just lying.
I had a game recently, I was playing a control deck with the possibility to gain a great amount of armor, and my opponent wasted two dummies in the early game without any preparations and without any advantage of deathrattles. Then ~5 other minions of my opponent were killed, and he or she also didn’t hesitate to play them.
Then my opponent played Mixologist and guess what happened. Yes, Dummy was ressurected. Exactly that mix, exactly that minion.
I am sure some players just rely on their perfect rng while playing and it is really perfect. Maybe because they payed for it.
So a sample of 1. This game is an extremely skewed population of outcomes. Unless you see at least 60 or 80 games then you can’t even begin to talk about a pattern.
I don’t talk about the outcome, I am talking about the behavior, the playstyle (not sure about the correct word) of some opponents.
It is impossible to behave like that without being sure that your rng is always perfect, without forming a habit by watching lucky outcomes many times.
Playing two dummies and nothing related to them to get more advantage while playing against a control deck with 100500 armor. I thought I won when the second one was destroyed.
Its all RNG, rouge players and DK players are a joke, just dropping RNG cards and letting the computer play for them. Its blizzards long term plan to reduce skill, cultivate a player base that is used to watching the game rather then playing it, so they can replace the dwindling player base with bots. If you are brainrotting these decks, they see that they are getting play and will adapt the game accordingly so play the brainrot skilless RNG rogue/DK/War decks at your own peril.
