So… instead of trying to breed some sort of good faith with the community and just letting everyone have their 4 picks by default then working back from there, you instead introduce paid rerolls?
In a game that crashes constantly, drops you from teams, somehow lags on PC even tho it’s a phone game, and is generally annoying, you decided to add more to the shop before seeing to any of that?

You know the entire reason they have to adjust the damage cap is because we don’t have hero choices! They took that away from us with Battle Pass and now there are so many 7 and 6 player games, you can be down to the top 4 by turn 8 or 9.
They could fix this with data and respecting players, but of course (OF COURSE) they chose a f****** cash grab that will only make the problem worse.
Yep - its a money grab - I’ve been playing Battlegrounds for a number of years now and refuse to pay …the next Season is a joke. its so obvious its about the money for sure.
Yeah I’ve never posted on a forum but I am here to say with confidence that after playing this new cash grab system, I will not be playing BGs until something changes. The Bazaar is looking more appealing every time you guys pull some greedy shenanigans like this.
One thing that always annoyed me with battleground this loving it so much, is the MMR rating system. I feel it demotivate me to just earn points towards being 5000 or 5100 mmr. It’s not visual pleasing, it doesn’t feel rewarding and it doesn’t feel exciting. You feel lost how good to are and it’s boring to just know you are in top 2.5 of the world if you are above 7000 or so. I love how standard hearthstone has different ranks, and each rank has star for ranking and de ranking, that reach rank has pictures. It feels rewarding and much more fun, the visual and faster way to know how good you are just does it for me. I’d love 20 different ranks in battle for kind, which some being gateways for not dropping lower. Visual pleasing art for each rank and maybe even reward for getting every 4 ranks completed, like a chest? Could be skins, tokens for the new patch, etc, special card backs for battleground and so on. All those changes would revive the game for me and make me feel excited for wanted to progress up through the ranks instead of just being a boring dull number, like wow I’m 5230, or finally 7300, wouldn’t it be so nice knowing I’m gold rank 5, 2 stars, with knowing at end of season I’ll get 1 minor chest with rewards and knowing if I’m gold rank I might be top 50% best of players etc. Battlegrounds has neglected this for far to many years now and this change could make it all so much more viable and fresh for modern gameplay. Does anyone else feel me or? Please upvote and like this if you agree.
What are you talking about it. The rating of the BGs is not the MMR. The MMR is always hidden and it also exists in Constructed formats (also hidden).
PS since it’s hidden it may be the culprit for various side effects people are noticing,
e.g. it’s probably boosted a lot even after a small win streak (to lose easier next).
Fair enough, but don’t you agree the rating system is boring and rewardless of an experience?
If you ask me they should show the MMR, so it’s transparent how they match you. And if they want to reward ‘grinding’ they could keep the ranks too or show a count of wins or something.
Right now the hidden MMR can be easily manipulated by the Devs with the third parties being incapable to detect the manipulation with their third party stats collection.
E.g. it’s probably very overtuned to abruptly become higher after a small win streak so people are aggressively pushed fast to a ~50% win rate.
They need to put a security check in the tokens,
I had the idea of saving all of them and never use them
but I spent one accidentally on a run that even had good heroes…
I’m enjoying the variations between seasons. The re-roll thing is not a huge issue, I like the idea of trying out different heros. I do want to say with so many beetles in play, this should of been named beetlemania and include a John Lennon hero.

the brothers and sisters from microsoft are really starting with the strong foot monetization since they took over.
Bit wild that it only took the tokens for people to realize how bad the adventage was when in reality it was always the battle pass that granted 2 extra heroes for a 4 vs 2 on f2p.
Objectivly the most fun card game mode on the market has now been ruined by greed, the extra hero slots were enough pay to win now you have tipped the edge a little too far on the scale by offering re rolls to tip the odds in your favor into getting an op hero. I like the reroll concept but paywalling it is just a dumb decision.
Also why would i buy a pass that has cospetics coming in feb 2024? What if i dont like them when they come out are you going to refund me?
Oh wait that would mean i would need to pay, which i will never do again until this p2w crap is removed.

I’ve never seen so many stingy people in my life. It’s only 15 or 20 bucks. Sheesh. Some people spend that much every day on coffee. 
Instead of adding pay-to-win elements to the game you shouldve fixed the godd*mn duo portals. Getting tired of seeing minions getting played instead of passed because the portal is too small and cant get a grip on the cards.
Any word on when the February StarCraft rewards are going to unlock??
