Adaptive amalgam bugged with double deathrattles

if you trigger adaptive amalgam deathrattle twice i would expect only 1 copy in deck but for some reason you end up with 2 copies since my new deck is structured around this card its weird behavior. - I’m donating his deathrattle to devour of souls and donating other deathrattles later + Im giving my devouer rush with broom and making copy with reverberations. but this end up filling my deck with devouers.

That’s odd. It shouldn’t be making extra copies.

If you play one of the copies, does the game history log show it was “created by” something? And if so, what?

did a bit of testing with devouer of souls and if he gets the deathrattle multiple times he shuffles that many copies.

For me only 1 copy (amalgam) shuffled back into the deck… When I was expecting 2…

Edit: I tried to trigger it with yelling yodeler

The deathrattle of the amalgam is not to shuffle a copy of itself in you deck, only to go in your deck. If it goes in your deck twice you still only have one in there

That’s because it does not shuffle a COPY into the deck.

The deathrattle says “Shuffle this into your deck.” There is no extra copy made.

It shuffles itself back into the deck. If the deathrattle is performed once, twice, or ten times, the outcome is the same – only one amalgam is shuffled.

That explanation makes sense. Thank you.
