Patch 35.0 is here! As a reminder, this will be our Highlights and Known Issues thread for the whole CATACLYSM cycle.

Please find below some of the issues we’re tracking, with updates to follow as we learn more.

Thanks for your help raising any potential issues as you come across them!

• [Bans] These will be added to the drop-down menu below (the list is also mirrored here). If your Arena deck contains a banned card, you will need to retire it manually (your ticket should be refunded).

Hearthstone Standard/Wild Bans

• No current bans

Battlegrounds Bans

• Minions: Psychus, Carapace Raiser
• Heroes: Buttons
• Timewarped Cards: Timewarped Magnanimoose, Power of Tavish, Timewarped Deios, Timewarped Promo-Drake, Timewarped Amalgam.

Arena Bans

Note: If your deck contains a banned card (you will see it with a reddish hue), you will need to retire. You will receive the rewards obtained until that point, and the cost of the run will be refunded to you. The Tickets will be added directly to your account.

Tavern Brawl Bans

Tracked Issues

• [Tavern Pass] Level 100 reward cannot be claimed.
• [Hearthstone] Another Timelooper Toki is not granted after playing the required spells.
• • [Update] We’re also investigating a similar issue with Edwin, Defias Kingpin, Flint Firearm, and Training Session.
• [Collection] We’re aware that Ebyssian Legendary is currently obtainable from CATACLYSM packs; please read [here].
• [Collection] Signature Ebyssian’s token is not of Signature quality (it is Golden). This will be corrected in a future patch.
• [Solo] Dr. Boom’s final puzzle in The Boomsday Project’s The Secret Lab cannot be completed.
• [Collection] Diamond Victor Nefarius appears in lower resolution.
• [Hearthstone] T.N.T. from Boomboss Tho’grun can target the same card more than once.
• [Arena] We’re investigating reports of players not receiving the expected ticket refund after retiring an invalid Arena deck. More info here.

35.0 Resolved Issues

• [Tavern Brawl] We’re investigating an issue where players are unable to spend Tavern Tickets to enter the Pre-Release Tavern Brawl on mobile. As a temp workaround while we work on a fix, please consider using a desktop client.
• • [Update] This should now be resolved. Please check the app store for an update, more info here.
• [Collection] We’re investigating reports of Legendary Cards from pre-purchase bundles not being delivered in game. → [Update] Cards are being delivered now.
• [Collection] Packs obtained through the pre-purchase bundles’ codes registered after 35.0 are not being delivered in game. → Packs are being delivered now.
• The new Rogue Hero Skin Sinestra (CATACLYSM Mega Bundle) has the Demon Hunter icon on some assets.
• [Battlegrounds] Some Hero Skins can’t be set as Favorite.
• [Shop] Unowned Full Ranked Hero Skins in the for You page have the same description as Lite skins.
• • [Update] We’re updating the descriptions; non-English locales might take a little longer to update.
• [Menu] Sometimes, there is no music in the main menu.
• [Collection] We’re investigating an issue with crafting or disenchanting cards. [Update] Fixed!
• [In-Game Event] We’re investigating the reports of Wave 1 ending earlier for some users.
• • Update Mar 10: Partially progressed rewards have been sent to affected players. More info here.

Im having some kind of weird bug on mobile. I have a 3 loss reward chest pop up that is empty and I have no way of getting past it to play the new event stuff. Im on android and the chest is from right before the update I played a bad mage deck got 3 losses in a row and now it just pops up congratulations with a chest thats empty and no way past it. Plz fix it. I have already cleared my phone cache and even re-downloaded the whole game and its still popping up.

I have the exact same same issue on Android mobile. Got a empty chest, but still got rewards, (after i restartet the game) but old exp packs, i Played before update, i have opened them, and the new from, the crono event, that got released after update… but i am stuck at a empty chest now to, and cant get passed it.

I have a reward chest that is empty and prevents me to play the pre release brawl. i have already recieved the rewards from my previous brawl, but now i can’t start with a new deck. i think the game started to update as soon as i claimed the rewards, but the animation of the chest hadn’t started yet. please fix, i also tried to uninstall and reinstall but the chest is still there

I have a bug where I try to play the pre-release brawl and i am stuck on a congratulations screen showing a chest. I open the chest and nothing ever comes out of it and now I cannot play the pre-release brawl at all because the screen is stuck and there is no way to bypass it or stop it from occuring. I have tried switching regions, restarting the client, logging in and out, and on mobile and PC. Both have yielded the same result. I am barred from playing pre-release tavern brawl and I can’t do anything about it. Is there anyway to fix this?

I had a card chosen for the brawl that now is banned from the brawl so i cannot continue my run or edit my deck. It was the paladin murloc quest.

What about the issues that existed before the patch? I, like some others, never received my two packs for 10 wins (the “Choose Your Champion” sub-requirement). And no, the answer that “It only worked in Standard” doesn’t count — it’s explicitly stated several times on the website:

Want a bonus you can count on? Lock in 10 Ranked wins during the promotional period & earn 2 more Lost City of Un’Goro card packs!

Go all-in? Extra bonus! Win 10 Ranked games during the promotional period & earn 2 additional Lost City of Un’Goro packs!

Additionally, players who win 10 Ranked games in Hearthstone during the Voting Period will win an additional two card packs from The Lost City of Un’Goro expansion.

The conditions are written three times, and not a single word is written about the fact that this is only about the standard mode, and the wild ranked wouldn’t count.

Issues with hero skins:

1.Diamond Genn Greymane appears blurry/jagged on mobile.(Alternatively, all Diamond skins appear blurrier on mobile devices compared to the PC version.)

2 .Arachnid Kerrigan’s in-combat avatar background incorrectly uses regular Kerrigan’s purple background on mobile and is missing its unique arrogant head-shaking entrance animation.

Thank you for your hard work. The display issue with Diamond Genn Greymane has been fixed, but the bug with Arachnid Kerrigan still persists. Please resolve it as soon as possible.

My phone models are: Samsung S23, S25U, and iQOO Neo10 Pro+. I’ve asked several friends, and they have also encountered this bug. Therefore, I suspect this bug is widespread rather than limited to specific models.

After that I pressed “play” and it said “the selected deck is not valid for this game mode”. I checked my deck and the card “hidden objects” is marked as banned. How can I fix?

Alternate Reality doesn’t seem to be working in the pre-release brawl. My cards got discounted but not transformed.

It ruined my strategy in Brawl…
