We need 2 swords, throw away the shield

Give me 2 swords and the ability to hit and move. Please and thank you.

Class change to Barbarian then.

In the Diablo franchise, the Paladin (Diablo II) and Crusader (Diablo III) have always wielded a one-handed weapon and a shield, or a two-handed weapon. (In Diablo III there was an option for Heavenly Strength that allowed wielding a two-handed weapon in the main hand with a shield in the off-hand).

Basically, this class has never been a dual-wielder.

Maybe a 2 hand sword would be the better idea, dont know why he even has the shield because he cant tank anyway.

Not like shield gives us an added protection… Isnt that what a shield is for? Love all the AoE damage, but would be nice to feel more tanky.

Well, Diablo III would like to have a word with you about that…

Blessed Shield using Gyrfalcon’s Foote main hand and the Jekangbord shield is very much about using the shield, thrown at the enemies, splitting / ricocheting to multiple targets / exploding, i.e. in the IP’s lore, the shield can sometimes be a Crusader’s main source of damage.

Having a shield is pretty much as iconic to the class as a Barb using axes…

Agree but Warrior tank in WoW has shield does damage and it protects, palladin same thing. To me I dont get if I by passed having a different offensive weapon (hammer, sword, axe) like your saying for shield I would expect it to have properties of normally having shield for protection also and we also look like we have heavy armor. Just would expect crusader to be more tanky. I also played a crusader in D3 along with about every other class at one point.

Add charge and throw a 2hand botd on

Charge and vigor all over the map slam conc aura

:grin::wink:XD

Sadly sader is the squishiest class atm, after the 3 sec shield runs out he is usually the first one who got killed around the idol (feels like paper in fire). Thx to no cc immunity and movement we mostly have no chance to get to safety like other classes can do.

The new horse build changed the survival but at the cost of any dps we ever got, for me the most unfunny thing i ever played and even then not half as good then a meta druid or bk who have same or better survival but make insane dps on top.

These days i play old circle build again with max dps focus and at towers/war fist of heavens has become a good alternative.
Sader really needs more love and is mostly only played because he is very good at the pve part and ofc a damm good looking guy.
