Most of the time the bg runs fine but it happens often now that i have matches inbetween where i have mega lags and constand 1fps the whole game, the next one runs fine again. This has nothing to do with my pc because i have seen it on videos at other streamers too, please fix this bug, it was appearing first time a few patches ago i think.

Have the same issue and i was in contact with Nvidia support. They told me that everything is fine by their side, they had more users having the same problem and after their investigation everything is fine with their GPSs and drivers.
Then i contacted a friend who is a AMD fan and he had the same problem.
After some research, i found out it is Battleground server related and it is a know problem in Reddit, so i guess Blizz are also aware.
In my opinion just i got high latency with some certain servers, Frankfurt as pure example. So when the match is hosted by Frankfurt server im having that lag issue, then the next game is hosted by London or Amsterdam (example) and everything is fine.
Approximate 1/7 matches im having this problem, hoping for an fix any soon.

I also experienced the same thing. Sometimes the match became extreme lag and the performance drop like crazy. Literally unplayable. Not happen very often but certainly happened.
I suspect maybe it was certain essence that caused the lag or maybe the players from different region (with high latency) were matched together with me and caused the network lag for me or him or all of us.

Also have had this happen a few times in convoy, usually end up just quickly swapping to mobile for the match and go back to pc and it goes back to running normally.

Experienced a strange lag again in BG Convoy when playing on PC.
Quickly login to mobile and the lag is gone.
On my next BG Convoy on PC, the lag is gone.
So it is definitely not my PC problem or else every BG Convoy match will be lagfest.

I experience Battleground lag from time to time as well. For me, itโs not constant, but roughly 1 out of every 5 matches becomes almost unplayable. My FPS can suddenly drop to around 5 FPS, with heavy stuttering and delayed inputs.
Whatโs interesting is that the rest of the game runs smoothly, so it seems very Battleground-specific on my setup. Iโve tried lowering graphics settings, but the issue still occasionally appears.
I actually made a diablo immortal video inspired by the lag.

It is still there, i got at least 1 time at every pvp session such a lag match where the whole game is messed up, the matches afterward are normal again. I fear this becomes the new normal now because the devs are not well known for fixing bugs.
