Another update, another massive disappointment. Why is the brainless Warlock still untouched patch after patch while dominating PvP with zero effort?
At the same time, Blizzard has butchered the Boon of Plenty subscription. Taking away player choice and cramming unwanted Telluric Pearls down our throats instead of the items we actually want is pure greed. It’s an obvious attempt to artificially inflate market scarcity and drive up prices.
Pls, back the daily gems. Give the choice perls or daily gems. If not, I’m done. This is officially the last straw—canceling my subscription and voting with my wallet.

I’m not surprised, but I think it would have been better if the Hilt Merchant had included a section for Shadows alongside the Telluric Pearls, since you leave out the two-star gems which you can easily craft so why include the treasures? So they’re removing the regular gems from the login loot in favor of Pearls, and hoping you won’t have to choose between crests and Pearls and that’s where anyone can see the flaw. It would have been better to increase the price of the Abundance Loot without removing the regular gems from the login reward, so players wouldn’t have to choose between crests and pearls, and to remove the chests containing two-star legendary gems. And if they don’t want to add a section for Shadows in the merchant, it would have been easy to just add more pearls to the merchant so they could be purchased with hilt tokens. The goal isn’t to inflate prices, but to get you to use the store, exchange orbs for platinum, and then spend that platinum in the market to buy regular gems that’s their new strategy.

I thought I wanted the pearl inclusion, but it looks like they stripped most of the login rewards out for merely the pearl option, it’s not even pearls on top of the original crests.
The estimated value of the old boon was much better than this new one. I bought it thinking it still had the daily crest+gem as well. Learning it does not makes me unlikely to renew this going forward.
Also, what now doesn’t even make sense, it is a 30 day boon, but the rewards stop on day 25?
This should really still have a daily reward as well and/or a reward on day 30.

You’ve said your wallet has been closed since mid-April. Why do you keep opening it?

Imagine if I renewed it for 90 days. And now, every time I log in, I don’t get my regular gems, since the two-star gem treasure chests are useless to me those gems can only be obtained by crafting them and now I have to choose between crests or pearls, just like in the pass. Why not just give out the pearls every other day and be done with it? But isn’t it better to make players think that choosing between pearls and crests sounds completely absurd, since it’s a replica of the Pass strategy applied to the Loot of Abundance choosing between pearls and crests?

Anyone looking to advance in progression will open their wallet, even though it’s not the best option but when the investment allows progression to advance further than simply using the resources saved for specific events.
Oh, okay, the pearl thing is still weird and it has removed the 30 normal crests.
But I just realized they give the same normal gems as before. They used to give 1 gem per day. Now on purchase you get 5x6gem chests so it works out the same 30.
The channeling meta with Measured Halves has been nerfed to the ground, and warlocks are now resorting to weaker builds.

Even with these so‑called ‘weaker’ builds, a Warlock can still one‑shot anyone who stays in the AoE buildup for more than a second. And after a knock‑up — which isn’t affected by CC immunity (here’s a free tip for the developers about what actually needs nerfing) — it’s inevitable that players get caught in the damage. And all of this happens with low resonance and basic secondary stats.”

I was just merely asking OP why he keeps spending after 4.5 months of repeatedly stating they were “voting with their wallet and keeping it closed” and telling others to do the same.
It wasn’t a general question to all players.
I’m all for boycotting and whatever people personally choose to spend on. I do not judge, but damn, if you’re going to boycott … stick to it!

It happens all the time imagine, I tell myself, “Not another euro on the game,” but when a Phantom Market event comes out and I see that the cosmetic looks great on my character, I’m like, “Forget what I said who said I wasn’t going to spend anything? Hehehe

Imagine you bring a new class as only new real content and it is ruining the gameing experience for everyone else, pvp is so unfunny atm with this heavy dps all around that i cant do more then 3 matches anymore. Every aspect of pvp is controled by warlock and demon hunter groups, the boon of plenty is another bad thing, it should give pearls, crests and gems for this price and stage of the game. My gems are now all lvl 7 and 8 and its nearly impossible to upgrade anything there, the normal leg drops have gotten worse too, cant remember when i seen a good leg the last time, all in all a very depressing time at diablo immortal.

Well, it depends. Once I reach Legend, I hardly ever log into the BG anymore, though sometimes when I feel like luck is on my side, I’ll play a few more matches. It doesn’t surprise me at this point that they’re still dominating, but they won’t have much time left. The only thing they did right, in my opinion, was the Mirrored Gems event. After that, they bring back the same old event repeats, and now the cross-server tournament to keep them “invincible” in some way so players keep spending it’s something that’s predictable just by looking at it. What’s really draining now is trying to get good set items or crafting them, since before I used to do it to get 500 volutas, but now there’s no way I’m going to be running dungeons like a maniac. If they want to appear, let them appear; if not, they’ll fall I’ll use them as long as they don’t have the Vitality attribute, which is what annoys me the most when they drop or when I craft them, since they’re useless to me. And what’s most surprising is that, despite a second removal of essences, the game seems to be moving forward, so the metrics remain stable
Set items are hard to find but legs are even a bigger problem, it seems that i nearly find no good legs anymore with enough magic affixes, mostly the new legs have one affix less then my old ones which means i lose power by using it.
Was using a bunch of chests and got nothing, was crafting thousands of mats and nothing, farming dungeons up and down and everything i find goes direct to the trashcan, even the vanguard was giving me 2 times in a row crap items without forti and this for month of work.
The game is so unrewarding atm that it really keeps me away from playing, the only thing where i feel improvements are by using the credit card but thats something i dont want to do anymore before the game becomes better again.
The warlock nerf was not feelable, the toon performs as strong then before, it shows how insane op this class was if even 2 nerfs arent enough to bring it in line. PVP a mess, pve unrewarding, upates only more of the same shop offers = i play sometrhing else.

And that’s where you start to see how, sometimes, expectations don’t exceed reality. It’s like I always say: at this point, there’s no way in hell I’m going to farm 500 dungeons just to collect enough scrolls to craft them at the blacksmith. If I get one, I get one; if not, I’ll get one whenever the algorithm feels like dropping it. And don’t get me wrong it happens to me too. Those Vanguard green items with the Vitality stat that really gets my blood boiling. Then there’s when I craft pillars to get Eternal Essences with two Vitality properties, and since they’re useless to me, I just destroy them without a second thought. The set items already come with Vitality why give them this stat too? But anyway, let’s see if one day the developers make up their minds and remove this attribute or leave it for the classes that depend on it the most. Well, if you didn’t notice, it’s like I always say: it’s a so-called nerf that won’t kill it until the annual Tonshi event rolls around again. Let’s see which class they’ll feature next year: will it be an angel, a demon, or will they just introduce dragons? In my humble opinion, it would be great if they introduced a corrupt or heretical priest, since the story always portrays these characters as the ones who unleash evil that’s how I see it. Let’s see what they come up with for the fifth anniversary.

Even Inspector Clouseau would not add another class to this game after the warlock disaster and the still way too large pool of classes we have where most are underperforming, its nearly like the devs causing this problems intentional to have something they can work at later updates. I know its easier for them to make a new class then real new content but how much more classes you need to run the same old dungeons up and down, its so pointless.

Warlock needs to be nerfed! This class is extremely op. High survivability, removes DoT, high self heal, high mobility, high damage, a lot of CC… IMO who plays with warlock are the really ones whose lack playskill and fingers and need to relay on a unbalanced OP class. That’s really damn sad.
