I have been trying for 3 days to get Hess to spawn. No luck. I have uninstalled, did the repair, made sure all downloads were there. Nothing.

Still no Hess on Mischif. This is absolutely ridiculous to have this severe of a soft-locking bug crop up on a brand new server like this. This must be fixed immediately.
nothing brand new about the server and it effected many in diff way which why its harder to pin down
Oh my bad I thought it said it was a new server when I joined a few days ago, so like there wouldn’t be a ton of end game players yet.
Still, absolutely unacceptable for a 4 year old game. It’s STILL not fixed
‘new’ means nothing tbh, they all have the same server paragon, same access to content + endgame, server prob 2+ year old. They thought it WAS fixed then found another issue, cant just snap their fingers. But def they are as annoyed trying to find out why their patch only partially worked

Quest Blocker: Hess Missing in “Between Two Evils” – Meshif (Americas)
Hello,
The main story quest “Between Two Evils” is blocked because Hess does not appear.
Server: Meshif (Americas)
I have completed a Client Repair on PC, but the issue remains.
What makes this even more concerning is that the same issue occurs on two completely different platforms:

PC (Battle.net) – Hess is missing.
-
iPad (iOS) – Hess is also missing on a different account.
Both characters are blocked at the exact same main story quest.
There are also multiple players waiting at the NPC location, suggesting this is not an isolated issue.
This bug completely blocks story progression.

Of course it’s not an isolated issue. There are at least a dozen threads about missing NPCs (including Hess) and this one is the main thread, started by the Blizzard Community Manager, with multiple updates, acknowledging the fault, saying they’re working on the fault, and admitting that whilst they deployed what they thought was a fix, it remains an issue and they are continuing to work on it.
This is the thread that the Blizzard Community Manager will update when it’s actually fixed.

No Hess on Meshif still.
Not sure how helpful this will be, but i managed to get Hess back by running north and completing a hidden lair between Forgotten Tower and Tree of Inifuss.
