Hi All, I want to talk about how unfair this game is right now.
Seriously, what is the deal with Necromancers in PVP? It’s not even a fair fight anymore. I know you guys at Blizzard love your little undead army, but come on. The “balance” is a joke. It feels like we’re all playing a completely different game from the Necro player.
First, let’s talk about the Necro’s biggest scam: being a tank and a DPS at the same time.
It’s just not right. They have insane damage, melting health bars like butter, but they’re also unkillable? They can just float around like a ghost, immune to everything, while their poison ticks you down to zero. It’s the most passive-aggressive way to kill someone. “Oh, you thought you could fight me? That’s cute. Just stand there and die while I’m a ghost, lol.” And don’t even get me started on their poison canceling your heals. How is that supposed to be fun or fair for anyone else?
And to the people who say “but it’s their only survival skill”
Give me a break. Some of us have legit useless skills. Demon Hunter’s Daring Swing? It’s a glorified hop that gets interrupted constantly. The range is pathetic, and to even get it to work twice, you need to use specific gear essences. It’s a whole ordeal just to have a decent escape. The Necro, on the other hand, just clicks one button and becomes invincible. Zero skill, zero risk. Then, with a few extra pieces of gear and paragon points, they’re basically invincible for like, 12 seconds straight. That’s a full-on nap time for them while you’re standing there wondering what to do.
But some people says it’s a whale problem!
Nice try. We all know resonance is a mess, but that’s not the whole story. Even at the same spending tier, Necromancers have way more impact on a match. Pit a Necro against a Monk with the same reso, and the Necro is going to dominate almost every time. Sure, higher spenders make everything worse, but pretending the classes are balanced at all is just ignoring the elephant in the room.
What about Tempest? They’re OP too!
Okay, fine, Tempest damage is crazy. But at least you can hit them! With a Necro, it’s not even a damage trade. It’s a damage receipt. They give it, you get it, and you can’t give anything back. There’s a huge difference between a class that does crazy damage but can be killed, and a class that does crazy damage while being completely untouchable.
Honestly, it’s just frustrating. I’m tired of feeling like I’m playing against a bug in the game rather than another player. Sort it out, please.
