Literally can’t buy any gems, they always have 50+ people bidding and most of the time my bid doesn’t even go through? even if i sit for an hour waiting for the timer to get down to 1 second and start spamming the gem just disappears, what a great system.

which region are you in? I feel thats part of the ‘problem’, you’ve combined with a more competitive cluster which is def a con of the new system
We have the opposite issue on my server. Gems are cheap. 4/5’s cost little more than 2/5’s due to rampant undercutting. Good if you are a buyer, maybe… but a disincentive to buy and run purple crests. Plus, there seem to be a lot of market manipulation activities, like spoofing, that are illegal and will land you in the penitentiary in the real world. Haha!
Not sure what Blizzard’s endgame is here…

It’s North America, the only thing it improved was four star gems are more available but more expensive then before
