Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with the problem I have. Since the update on November 12th 2024, the game launcher fails, it does not Start or update the game. I have tried to repair the game, uninstall it and reinstall it and nothing. When I press Play, the game try to starts but it gets stuck on the initial screen or doesnt nothing. If I press Scan and Repair, it stays at 1% and restarts in a cycle of about 10 times until an error appears. What can I do?

Could someone share me the files of the game on drive?

I have the same problem except that I only get a black window which then closes again. I think I had the problem after a major update about a month ago. I also did everything and reinstalled everything but nothing worked. It seems that some of us have the same problem.

Hello, I finally found a way to fix my problem with not starting the game. Unfortunately it wasn’t thanks to the support on this page, as I see Blizzard support didn’t help at all.

These are the steps to follow:
1- Delete (not uninstall) all folder and files related to BattleNet and Blizzard that are in the following addresses:
1a- Delete the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Battle.net or C:\Program Files\Battle.net
1b- Delete all inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo Immortal, except the LocalData and Package folders. This is to avoid downloading all the game packages.
1c- Delete the folders C:\ProgramData\Battle.net, C:\ProgramData\Battle.net_components and C:\ProgramData\BlizzardEntertainment
1d- Delete the folders C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Battle.net and C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Local\Blizzard Entertainment
1e- Delete the folder C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\Battle.net

2- Download and install the Diablo Immortal setup: https: //download .battle.net/es-es/?product=di (not the battleNet setup)

3- Once the game is installed, try to run the game and, if it does not start, repeat the above procedures until the game can update and to start normally.

The error seems to come from corrupted package files when downloading and updating, I tried this procedure like 15 times until it worked

Thanks for the info, I’ve tried everything there is on the internet. But nothing worked, I’m trying it now and it’s downloading. But if you’ve tried it 15 times (so in my case 75 GB) how long did it take :smiley: OK, it depends on the connection, I only have internet with 50 Mbit/s. That takes about 3-4 hours. But thanks again for the tip, support doesn’t help either, I’ve written tickets and only get standard messages back anyway. Although some people have the problem, as you can see in the forum.

I tried this, lost many hours, and ran out of patience. It is simply not working. The server list does not appear on the screen, and “Click to play” does nothing.

logged out of Diablo Immortal normally last night around 20:00 June 15 2025.

When I attempted to start Diablo Immortal this morning around 06:00 June 16 2025 the splash screen appeared with repair client in the corner then quit.

I terminated and restarted the battle.net application and tried again.
Same result, i.e. The splash screen appeared with repair client in the corner then quit.

I restarted my PC then Battle.net then hit play on Diablo Immortal went update with fix client in the corner of the screen.
Same result, i.e. The splash screen appeared with repair client in the corner then it went a little further in to blizzard splash screen then quit.

I ran a Check for updates and tried again restarted PC hit the Battle.net icon waited for it to load hit play on Diablo Immortal.
Same result, i.e. The splash screen appeared with repair client in the corner went a bit further to the Blizzard splash screen then quit.

I ran a Scan and Repair and tried again.
Same result, i.e. The splash screen appeared with repair client in the corner went a bit further to the Blizzard splash screen then quit.

I Uninstalling and Re-installing Battle.net and Diablo Immortal.

Yes nothing seems to be working for me either the only thing I can think of doing is reverse engineering the Diablo Immortal download file to see if I can fix it my self, But I think folks at Blizzard mite frown on that a little bit.

I have Diablo, Diablo LOD, Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 3 ROS running fine but be nice to have Diablo Immortal up and running again.

Anyway I’m done.
