This is possibly the single most-often reported issue on Bug Report.

The crests will be returned to your hero via the in-game email.
This does not occur immediately. It can take some time.
But it absolutely will happen.

You have not lost any crests.

I lost legendary crest x10. We are queqe and when we are ready it does not go in elder rift. It teleport me in other territory and then I see I lost crests
