I haven’t been able to play on my PC for a few days now.
I usually play windowed/full screen mode.
When I launch the game, it appears as it is windowed mode, then when it gets to the BLIZZARD logo part, the logo is gigantic and the game turns itself into ‘‘full giant screen’’, and only displaying HALF the game screen, to the right, left side all black. So half the screen is missing.
All of my drivers are up to date and this problem only started with the latest patch.
I also play on PC and don’t have this issue. What GPU do you have? Are you using RTX/DLSS features? When I changed mine to a RTX3060, I went “all full enable” (in nVidia APP) and found that most games looked horrible and some couldn’t even be played, I disabled most things (until I learn how to properly “tune” the settings) and now everything is working fine.
I’ve been using RTX4070Ti Super for over a year now. I haven’t changed any settings in a long time, and the issue I’m having only started with Blizzard’s latest patch.
Maybe this latest patch changed something in how the graphics are handled and it is messing up with some of the RTX “advanced” settings that I am not using (and that’s why my game works fine). It’s the only idea that comes to my mind. In any case, it’s not something affecting the PC client “in general”, because if it were, I’d be having it too. It has to be machine related, so it may be worth trying some changes in your settings, see if that solves the issue.
