When I created my account back in 2005/2006 and entered the Blizzard world, I was always proud that Blizzard games were built on competition, fairness, and respect for player effort. I have now been playing Diablo Immortal for two years, and honestly, every single day I feel like uninstalling the game because of the current state of its competitive systems.
The main problem is the strange, broken, and completely non-competitive system you have implemented for Immortals and Shadows. On my server, six clans have been rotating the Immortal role among themselves for two full years without any real wars or fair competition.
During the Immortal battle, from 10 clans, each clan sends 3 players. From the first 21 players, I personally eliminate 9 of the remaining players, and then I deliberately die one by one so that the person they already agreed on from those same 6 clans becomes the Immortal. Recently, they have even started moving one clan every two months just to pretend that other clans also managed to become Immortal, when in reality everything is already decided in advance.
Do you truly not monitor what kind of disastrous situation this has created inside the game? This is a clear and ongoing example of pay-to-win and organized win-trading that has been running nonstop for two years. If you genuinely see no problem with this, then please explain why — because I want to understand why a 20-year loyal Blizzard player deserves this level of disrespect.
The same corruption that was forced onto the Immortal system has now spread to the Shadows as well. Recently, just to keep only three clans at the top, they intentionally lose to each other on purpose. Check this soon and you will see it yourselves. What kind of rigged and humiliating situation has this game turned into? Is spending massive amounts of money and one-shotting players not enough? Do they also need to mock and destroy the achievements of all other players?
All other clans are now slowly dying, and soon Diablo Immortal itself will die as well, because no one joins the Shadow clans anymore. There is zero hope of ever becoming Immortal through fair play. Of course, I fully believe that you are already aware of this miserable situation, and that so far nothing meaningful has been done to fix it.
But as a very old Blizzard player, I felt it was my responsibility — for myself and also for you — to remind you why Blizzard became Blizzard in the first place:
Because players once trusted that effort, skill, and fairness mattered more than money and manipulation.
As a veteran and professional player across many of these games, I say this honestly: the main problem is not bots or the market. In every update, you try to save the market in Diablo Immortal, but no one is excited for updates anymore, and that is why the entire game is slowly dying. The reason is simple: the Immortal and Shadow systems have become humiliating and meaningless.
I, and many others, have no problem with losing. A player who spends more money naturally should be stronger and win more easily — that is not the main issue anymore. The real problem is that these clans are now destroying the entire structure of the game in a humiliating and disgraceful way.
My server is Go and see for yourselves how those same six clans manipulate everything. It is truly pathetic.
They take the Immortal title every two months without any real war or competition, and then act as if they earned it with effort and pride. Such behavior deserves to be banned, not rewarded.
As a 21 year loyal player of blizzard I have to know what is exactly trading win ? It’s legal now ? Just tell us we know that.
