Feast of the Valenti - permanent red dot

After completing the first task for the Feast of Valenti today, there is a permanent red dot on the “Daily Tasks” page, even though none of the subpages have any rewards to claim.

In addition to a description of the bug you are reporting, please provide:

Device Type: PC
Device Operating System: Windows 11
Diablo Immortal App Version: 3.2.4.0

It is the same for Amdroid! This is not the first time unable to collect something in events not showing.

I know for sure I reported the same thing three weeks ago but cannot find the thread now. The red dot doesn’t happen every day, just on days where you collect an item, e.g. a set item container, or one of the chests where you select an item type, e.g. off-hand weapon, that turns into a container with that item type in it. On days where you just get gems / crafting materials, you won’t get a red dot. Disappointing that it was reported on day 1 on the first run-through and they didn’t fix it for this re-run.

My guess is that this is happening because some tasks work both for the previous season and the current season. When I claim the tokens and the token counter counts up, I see my old token count (1100+) briefly before it gets replaced by the new token count. And there was a chest that could be claimed for every 50 extra tokens after the last reward, so probably my old token count went above one of those thresholds, so I would be able to claim the chest if the UI for the old season was accessible but it’s not.
Also for some extra data points, I also checked on 4 alts, and did some of the claimable tasks on them - they did NOT get the permanent dots (and I did get that legendary chest on some of them). And their score for the first season was nowhere near the maximum.

I just noticed WHY this is happening!!! They never removed the points from last round! Keep an eye on the total points when you claim a task. It jump to 1400 then to the current #. So the red dot is showing we ‘have’ 1400 points when we really only have 2-300

see my comment above, think I figured it out

If that’s the case, then the red dot is probably because it thinks we have some of the bonus chests waiting to be collected, i.e. the ones that were unlocked after 1120 points, for every 50 you went beyond that.
