Just read the new essences for sader and 2/3 seems useless sacred chain stuff and an maybe interesting essence at off hand we cant use. It seems that we get now the third time in a row nothing useful, need cc breakers, movespeed and no sacred chain crap.
Only the chest seems worth a test but have a bad feeling.

Iâd love to be a fly on the wall for these creation meetings or whatever. Like I know they add some to try to shift metas but so often they are what were you thinking ones

A new meta build would maybe not be bad, i would even sacrifice some dps if i get good movement and cc immunity for the trade but i never ever seen someone wearing sacred chain essences at this game. To think this stuff will replace good legs like rose is ridiculous but every new essence round we get tons of it.
The only good thing is that there will be a wizzard and barb nerf (god thx), maybe the sader becomes a bit more competitive again even with old build.

Only thing I see that has potential is the Main Hand - gather and stun. stun duration would probably 2secs at best. Sweep Attack though 
Also⌠These new essences will all be useless if stunned/ccâed anyways. Other classes can just run around us and we canât do anything about it.
Was hoping for bubble while ccâed or self bubble with extended duration. sigh.

Yeah weapon would maybe be good if it wasnt sweep attack.
My god, i have just seen the new offhand the barbs gets: enhanced movement speed, reduce of damage taken and reduce of lost of control effects, all of this in one essence!!! This is maybe all a sader would dream off and who gets it, the already most op toon at game.

Yeah but itâs not an âalsoâ essence either so it doesnât stack on any others.
This is the 4th round of Sacred chains essences that they released in the last year and they dont address and of the problems crusaders face in Pvp.

Yeah, something is going on with the devs and sacred chains, nobody wants these essences, nobody ever wears one of this essences ever at any game mode but we always get the full broadside of them at each new difficult (maybe a fetish or something like that).
Sacred Chain is kinda like broccoli, everyone tries so hard to talk you into it but in the end you stick to the good ol mac n cheese

Keep using current meta build and wait untill someone else finds something good with it.
There are interesting things to do but hard to tell without the numbers.
Anti-dash on sacred chains pant is a direct counter to current dh and wiz (edit: monk and tp too) and it does not involve shoulder and chest, meaning that we only need to drop shield glare to have it with current meta.
Iâm pretty sure that we will be able to pull a sacred chain dps build soon, but it is not a popular skill, yet.
I had a little hope for the new chest and now i must see that it breaks the horse if you use it in pve. They even reworked some old essences like the banner to become usable on horse but even after 3 years they still release new essences which does this again, that all makes somehow no sense. The other stuff seems to make not much sense too because if you kick judgement you loose even the stun from the legs which is the biggest thing the sader has atm.
They even messed up the chest essence and released it as useless as possible New crusader chest essence Harmonic Collide is NOT resolving dots with torrential refrain

This is a nerf before having to nerf it.
If these two worked together, current cruz meta would have benefit from a 30% increased range with a minor loss of dps.
Rose dot every 0.5sec and any other 2tics of damage would trigger the torrential refrain. So with 4p Angmet, this would have been way too OP.
All other greyed essences on off hand and pants had the same preventive treatment.
Still, this essence can be great for pure DoT builds with a really high range of effect.
It gets better and better, i wished we could have a team swap, i want the guy who is creating the wizzard legs a few weeks working on crusader.

Sacred chain pants is a total let down⌠it had the potential to break past meta (dh and wiz) but instead, anti-dash is considered as a (soft) CC meaning that any anti-cc essence cancels it use -.-
Worse: i8 essences added more CC immunity/cleanse usable under CC 
so everybody is dashing/spamming everywhere on the battlefield around cruz 
Sacred chain has a bunch of promising essences but most cannot buff each others⌠Spine of the Adversary could be great but the description is ânow alsoâ⌠but only get the ânowâ and cannot be used as a buff.

There is another good pvp build now out with the new chest essence, i must confess that even if i had to drop rose and refrain that this build was performing better then the circle. Higher reso players are still a problem sometimes (especially toons like the blood knight have become insane strong) but all in all it is good to play something new that works after this long time.

I will give it another round then. I did a few tests but without enough potency.
Its perfect for towers and clan wars but at normal bg i still think the circle has more impact. God thx i am at solid potency atm and the build supports all my gems i already got for dot builds anyway (had just to farm 2 piece skybreaker). After a long time i must say that this is the first build that works and you can even hit far away wiz and dh with it now.
So, ninja update on most Condemn off-hands (except torrential refrain of course) taht now work with the new chest !
This opens up to a few alternatives.
