Account #wassuup2958 stuck before character selection for over a week – local issue excluded, please escalate

Hi,

I have been unable to access my Diablo Immortal account #wassuup2958 for over a week now and this is clearly a server-side account/data issue, not a local problem.

Facts:
• Login works fine, but the game gets stuck before the character selection screen on all servers.
• I created a new account with a different email on the exact same iPhone (iOS 18) and same network – it works perfectly.
• The issue also occurs on multiple other devices and different networks → local issue fully excluded.
• The day before this happened, I encountered a bug when rerolling a companion: a new companion appeared briefly, then reverted back to the old one. Right after this, I could no longer log in to my main account.
• Support tickets have so far resulted in four standard replies (firewall, restart, DNS, config file etc.) – all already done or not applicable on iOS.
• None of the replies addressed my detailed descriptions or the companion bug.
• My last ticket was closed without escalation to the technical team, despite multiple requests.
• I was also advised to post here in the forum because the support team allegedly “cannot forward this to the technical colleagues”.

Request:
Please escalate this directly to the technical team so they can investigate my account data and resolve this issue. This is not a connectivity or device problem. After more than a week of complete downtime, this is extremely frustrating.

Thanks in advance to any Blizzard staff or community member who can help. If anyone had a similar problem before and it got resolved, I’d appreciate hearing about it.

That is another Kind of problem. I think this is a Problem connecting to the Battle net App Not the App Diablo Immortal. There is no Button for back or refresh.
I can connect my Battle.net Account in the App, but then when Holding the Server it doesn t go to the Char selection.

It’s likely connected to the same overall issue. Let’s hope that is the case as it is a bnet issue more than an immortal issue it appears

Bit it would be nice of a technician from Blizz could take a Look at my Account.

Yeah it likely won’t happen till this issue is resolved. If it works good, if not then makes sense to do a deeper look.

Among these devices, are there Windows PC/laptops, Android phones/tablets? I’m not a Blizzard technician, but it would be helpful to know that the problem is happening with an specific account, independently of the platform/OS used.

Besides, you also said that a new account works fine in the same device, which seems to discard that the iOS beta issue that is being worked on right now is the problem you are suffering.

Yes à new Account works without problem on the same device in the same network. Then when I switch accounts again, it doesn’t work.

That’s why I think it’s not because of the known error with iOS. If it would, the other account would not work either?

On my pc it didn’t work too.

Do you know what you were doing last before this started in game?

I merged 21 pets. First merge gave a yellow normal one with all skill yellow. Then every following merge it showed me a new pet, sometimes normal sometimes the “anormal” but when I clicked, the first one yellow with the 6 yellow skills showed up again. At the end I merge this yellow “bugged” pet with 2 others again to get a anormal with 5 blue skills and one rare.

I am not sure what I did else this session. Earlier the day a made helliquary but disconnected after.

The session with the merging I think i played vanguard level 4 five times. And perhaps 3 random dungeons. But I am really not sure …

I had a clannie stuck in i6 for two months so I get the frustration. It’s def sounding somewhat similar in that it’s account specific no matter the device.

Yeah sounds to me also account specific considering all I tried

Unfortunately in my case I had to use one of my contacts to get a Dev involved. They were able to find the stuck trigger that was hindering their progression.

I hope you are able to get access soon. Or maybe someone else might have other ideas to try.

I am hoping that someone from the blizz team reads my post and is looking for my account.
That’s what the fifth gamemaster told me in one of the tickets. He can’t give it to technical support, I have to write in the forum to get someone from the blizz technical support.
It’s kind of complicated I think…

Ok something happened. Just had to Download 80mb of Update and then it worked

So if somebody from Blizz did something, thanks very much

Hey Wassuup,

I had the same issue and posted it under your other posts. The Update yesterday also solved the Problem with my Account. Think Blizz did nothing.
