Wizard Inferno 11 Legendaries Feel Very Underwhelming
I’ve been testing some of the Wizard Inferno 11 legendaries and they currently feel extremely underwhelming.
The items Spark Rain (chest) and Planar Hook (main hand) both modify abilities with very short range. Because of this, they are essentially unusable in PvP.
Since these abilities require you to be very close to enemies, they would realistically only be viable in PvE situations where enemies are grouped together.
However, even in PvE they feel weak because they only have one charge and very limited uptime.
Suggestion:
Add +2 charges to both abilities.
This would allow Wizards to actually use these skills more frequently in PvE builds, especially when combined with Terminal Aspect (helmet).
Right now the problem isn’t necessarily damage, but usability. With only one charge and such short range, the items feel almost completely useless.
Giving them additional charges would make them much more practical and allow players to build around them.
