You need at least Windows 10 (version 1909), Unsupported OS version (6.2.9200), Win11 User

Now on Discord we were asked to provide as detailed information as possible, as this issue doesn’t seem to be able to be hotfixed . I’m running the latest Windows11 Insider preview build, however also people with the Windows 10 release 22H2 have this problem. So this is NOT a Windows insider problem.

I have heard the problem was already there during the closed beta, and the workaround there was to run battle.net in administrator mode. I tried that, to no avail. I also ran the diabloIV.exe as administrator, which didn’t fix it either. So yea, the state the game is in really makes me optimistic (also seeing the other threads on Discord that the game still seems to have an issue with GPU temperatures)

Either way, my most relevant system specs are as follows:

i7 11700K
64 GB RAM
RTX 3090Ti Graphics card

I’d like to stress that ironically no other Blizzard game has any issues recognizing my Windows as Windows, so this bug is quite bizarre.

Other than that, considering I preordered the Ultimate Edition I am kind of agitated that I will now miss out on the beta rewards due to no fault of my own, due to a gamebreaking bug that, if left unchecked, will even prevent me from playing the release version (which I put 100 bucks down for), so ya. Kind of a letdown

Its nothing to do with your windows, its battle.net poor optimization. It forces widowsn 8 compatibility
